This song will forever penetrate my heart deeply. I remember (but just barely) 6 years ago when I was at the most intimate place with God that I had and have ever been in my life. There was an outpouring of the love of God. What appeared to be a mundane, lonely life was the time when I felt the most alive. As I was worshiping in my bedroom at night with headphones on, song after song was a transforming journey as the love of God was buffeting me. This would happen every night for a couple months or so. My heart became so tender towards God. It was during this song specifically, I remember reaching a new peak of intimacy with the Spirit. It truly felt like anything was possible. That night in particular, but as well as the many other nights in that season, was an extravagant divine romance. I would give anything to get back to that intimate place with God.

I remember listening to this song when I was about 19/20 and being so profoundly and deeply moved by the message. It was a period of great divine romance. I was reading about the Christian mystics from the 16th to 18th centuries who had a deep life of prayer and intimacy with God and feeling so overwhelmed by the ebb and the flow of longing for God, being satisfied, yet longing yet for more and more. That led me to realise that the nearness of God I was feeling, then the longing, then the nearness was an infinite pursuit. It was never going to end. The reward is precisely in the pursuit. And now more than 10 years later I remembered this song and all those thoughts and feelings have come rushing back like a mighty flood.

So many facets of the spirit! His Word says to cry out to Him and He will show us things we know not of!

Her style is not mainstream. And that's what makes her so great. Apart from being so talented

No song in the world pierce through my heart each time I listen, like this song.

This song is so beautiful. God wants us to love Him more then anything. And this song is so beautifully expressed, on how to have that deep desire for God! I bet Misty touched His heart. . And God is smiling.

They are trying to take mine please pray for my son lucas i called off today to go fight for him after family therapy and cyf railroaded me in his medical treatment i grabbed for help and got demons to swoop in and try to make the situation worse we need help lord god i wanted to pray and worship before a head out and battle these demons to save my baby if anyone could please pray for him !!! His name is lucas he has been violent and angry ever sense the lock downs he is 12 he is a good talented kid who is lost and i need to helo him out of the woods so to speak but im lost mental health care in us is crazy and we need the right people to find out how to help him.
