Are misting fans only for outdoor use? I would sure appreciate an indoor mist fan which will substitute an aircon even if it won't provide the exact same level of cooling.

These have a lot of water that will get everywhere inside, you could just buy a swamp cooler which is the same thing but it recirculates the water, it will make your humidity level go up inside though, good for dry areas, small portable ones you'll have to empty and refill after that water I warm, big household ones will just do all that for you, uses wayyyy less electricity than an ac, but its gotta be a dry climate for that, because humid air can only hold so much water and once it's full youll grow mold and it'll stop cooling affects

Is there way to use the bucket pump system with the x power fan? Being on a construction site with no water makes the hose hook up a problem

Yes they make units that pump from a bucket I use a ryobi bucket fan with mister

I can find the artic air misting fan..but what was the artic air part that that hooked up to the misting tubing with the bucket? TIA

Imagine it's a very small pressure washer, high pressure water trying to pass through a very small hole produces very small droplets
