I'll be very frank .. If you are from PCM - Physics, Chem or Math then getting into IITs for MSc is not at all tough .. Placement kuch khaas acchi nahi h yaar Chemistry walo ki .. jhuti hopes me mat jeena jyada.. Research karo .. Then kuch scope hai .. usse pehle nai .. PCM me koi scope nahi hai Till MSc .. PhD krni hoti hai uske baad scope dikhega.. Generally Academics and Research positions are the best scope.. Chemistry walo ke liye Industrial chem and Pharma Industry me hai jobs ..baaki as such kuch hai nahi .. Har BSc ka baccha PCM hi padhta hai BSc me .. Teeno ka scope same hai .. Math wale phir bhi shift kr jaate h .. Physics n Chem walo ke liye Research se pehle nahi h kuch bhi .. uske baad hi hai sab.. Department saare acche h IIT Bombay me .. chill .. But understand the scope of your Subject.. that's what matters..

First check if BA math is eligible for MSc Math or not.. Next, Physics Chem aur Math se ho toh IITian banna is pretty much easy.. 23 me se 21 IITs deti hai MSc in Physics Chem n Math.. Math ke liye 650+ seats hai .. Marks har saal change hote hai according to difficulty level.. Ess saal for example 50 out of 100 ko AIR 10 mila hoga but last year AIR 100 mila hoga kyuki ess saal paper tough aaya tha JAM MA ka .. it's just an example I'm not telling the exact marks n rank, bass samjha rha hoon.. Rank agar 200 ke andar hai toh Top 5 IITs aaram se milegi General category me .. Last IIT me admission 530 rank par bhi ho jayega General Category walo ko.. Imagine you can become an IITian even after getting 530 Rank .. That's why I said it's easy .. baaki EWS OBC walo ko acchi IIT 300 tak aur baaki 650 rank tak mil jaati hai .. SC ST ko aur bhi 900-1100 rank par bhi milti hai IIT .. So chill .. seriously padhoge toh aaram se milegi top 5 IIT .. any category.. All the Best !

Can get easily into PhD at IITs and after that .. Extremely high demand in Academics.. Can become Scientist at huge Organisations like DRDO, BARC, ISRO.. Professor at IITs, IISc, IISERs, NITs, IIITs.. Join Corporate in the Research and Development Team, Research Associate at Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc.. BS-MS from IISERs and NISER is one of the most sought after thing by Huge Organisations and Tech Companies bcz of the level of subject expertise these students hold in their respective subject but yes .. adding a PhD to your resume opens these doors .. and getting into PhD will be very easy after coming from IISERs.. Also read abt JNCASR .. Excellent Research Institute like IISc and IISERs. .

@@Neha123.3 Bahar ka bhi generally yahi hai 3 to 5 years.. but Haan fixed hai wahan .. utne time baad PhD de hi denge .. India me aisa nahi hai .. Yahan your entire journey depends on your PhD Supervisor .. I've my Dept. Professors who've received PhD in 9 years from IIT and many articles are available that would tell u how uncertain the number if years for a PhD in India is .. Ranges from 2.5 to 12 years .. but mostly 5-6 years has the highest frequency.. And I feel people really lack in Institute choices .. India me research Institutes bhi hai !!! .. IISc Bangalore, IISERs, JNCASR, ISI Kolkata, CMI Chennai, HCRI Prayagraj.. IITs are Technical Institutes and not Research Institute.. Btech Mtech ke liye IITs are the Best but Research hi karni hai toh bhai Research Institute me jaao naa aap why settle for less.. Wahan nhi hua toh aa jaana IITs me .. Btech Mtech krna h yaa MSc krni hai .. Then IITs can be 1st preference

@@Neha123.3 Ofcourse bahar se krne ka fayda tab hai jab University uss level ki hai .. MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Cambridge, Oxford, Yale, Carnegie Melon, UC Berkeley, Caltech, etc.. Baaki bhi hai .. but same thing applies fayda badi aur reputed University me milega .. Connections, Brand Value, Learning environment, Exposure, Best Brains in your Subject, High demand of degree from such Institutes, aise sab fayda hai .. Fees and Scholarships acche se manage krna hota h kyuki kharcha main issue h .. baaki sab badhiya hai bahar ke bade Universities me .. Ivy league colleges famous hote h vo bhi dekh lo.. But again .. Ye upar wale 8-10 mile toh thik .. nai toh India me raho... Research Institutes humare bhi bohot acche hain .. IISc Bangalore and JNCASR to be more precise ..
