Mistakes Hosting a Car Show
Hosting car shows can be a little scary. You have to find venues, plan routes, establish a staffing plan, and a whole bunch of boring things that may make you feel a little..scared. So instead of panicking like your first kiss in school, i'm here to walk you through what it's like to host one using one of my very own shows in Wisconsin; Appleton Takeover Car Show & Drag Day!
Wisconsin Car Enthusiast Club is an organization that's been around for a long time and is the reason i'm where i'm at now. From our first meets to road rallies, to the very people I consider family; all of which came from this club. This is the first "real" behind the scenes video I did for it so I truly hope you enjoyed this one.

these tips work if you have a way of PROMOTING the event to a large group of people like a car club. but for a random joe to set up a show from scratch no club, no youtube fam or other social media "fam" good luck. marketing is a thing

Hey alex, got a serious question I recently just became a owner of a car club that my mate didn’t want to put anymore effort into… with over 600 members here in Australia Any tips on how to keep this club alive? I plan cruises as often as I can yet I don’t have a strong enough team that I trust yet and I don’t know how to start a small meet without bringing the wrong crowd 😅

Congratulations on the car club!! If it has a social media page or group, post consistently within it to keep your members engaged. Do small cruises or hangouts with people in the group and post about it! Find a few people that you trust to help you out. Start off small, don't get in over your head and jump feet first. Consistency is key, and engagement is going to be your biggest pull within your club. PS. Appreciate the comment as always! We're posting shorts and pillar videos every day during the week so it'd mean a lot if you subbed and let me know what you think of the next one!
Honest question, why do u say “takeover” for your car show when you despise such things? I’ve only heard that term in reference to idiots doing stupid things with their cars
