Just got a PC couple of weeks ago and found this game the other day. I was completely lost on what I was supposed to do. Your video helps give me an idea and direction and was extremely helpful. Going to be watching the whole series alongside my playthrough. Got a sub bro

Head back towards your base, stop at the red building, you’ll find three 3 drawer cabinets, on top of the diner next door is skeleton with goodies in his backpack and a backpack upgrade next to him. Check on the roof of the big gas station, you’ll find a backpack upgrade and a an AK.

Well thanks, I appreciate that! That game really is fun. I've been waiting for the next big update to start the next season, but that's still a couple months away...AND I WANT TO PLAY IT NOW! LOL. It gets to be pretty addicting! I hope you enjoy the series. If you haven't seen them yet, the short videos I did on 5 Tips and how to get the flamethrower will really help out.

I'm glad to hear it and thank you for the Sub and comment. I started the Infected, it's definitely got some potential! Have you tried No One Survived? I've got a whole series on that one and I'm about to start recording the next season. There's a ridiculous amount to do in that game. I can easily see hundreds of hours of gameplay. 7DTD...talk about a game that has come a long LONG way! Bought that one 10 years ago when it came out and I hated it LOL. But wow...what an evolution. Loads of fun now. I really do appreciate the kind words. There's way more work that goes into making these videos than I ever knew, so it's nice to hear they are appreciated. Don't be a stranger, I reply to every comment (unless I somehow miss one). Interacting with people who enjoy the videos is the best part of doing this 🙂

To get a cart, head out to the main road, head right,go past the the gas station on the left, then the motel on the right, keep going past another small gas station on the right, past the small diner and the red building, a short distance past the red building on lt left you’ll find a cart.

I agree about the starting position, if they're going to for "realisim" in survival, nobody is going to running around in their underwear without a backstory. lol. If you made it this far into the apocalypse, you would have some sense of how to do things. The way the game starts now, is more like you were sleeping off a massive hangover for months and stepped outside. ;) That said, I enjoy the videos, thank you!

Man, where do I even begin with this game? It has a great atmosphere, the enemies are actually scary, and I love the misty fog. But then there are the bugs, the glitches, the exploits, the bumpy terrain where I got myself and my vehicle stuck so many times. I know that the game is made by one guy, but if I were that guy, I would first make sure my game doesn't have any bugs or glitches before adding any additional content. Until this game leaves Early Access and gets all of its bugs and glitches fixed, I would just wait it out to get the best experience. This game has so much potential, and when it eventually gets there, this will be one of the best if not THE BEST zombie survival games ever made.

I can definitely relate lol. I've been bit in the ass so many times by the 'bugs' I've lost track! I do have to say, it's been fun recording my gameplay and then sharing what I learned. Getting stuck or flipping your rig is definitely a monster sized pain in the ass! I'm really interested to see where the game goes. Like you said, it's got tremendous potential! By what you just said, you have proven that you do not that you do not understand Early Access games, and the fact that you pretended to know it and said "it actually does" was a mistake. Because Early Access is where you are supposed to criticize and give feedback to the creator to improve their game, you know that right? That's why there are threads about it, so people can discuss it with the creator. That's why when you scroll down on the Steam page of the game, there is a small section that says "Report bugs and leave feedback for this game on the discussion boards". If you click on the "See all discussions" button next to it, it will take you to a page where people are reporting bugs, glitches, and giving their feedback and opinion about the game, and offering ideas and suggestions, all in for the sake of making this game better for all of us. And that's what I did with my comment. I left my feedback, telling that the game is great and has great potential, but currently has lots of bugs and glitches that are getting in the way. I just did what an Early Access game wanted me to do. Also, you it doesn't matter if a game is in Early Access or not, you can still criticize it. I've played fully released games, including games made by single developers, with many updates after their release in which they still had bugs and glitches. It can be an early access game, it can be a fully released game, it can be a game that is finished, doesn't matter, people can still voice their opinions on how to make it better. Guess what? Some of those games had their bugs and glitches fixed, because the community reported them and the developers fixed them. Nothing is shielded from criticism. If you put something out there, doesn't matter if its a game or any content, people can criticize it, just like how people can criticize this comment I made, and I'm open for that. Calling me ignorant was a mistake, because jokes on you, I have made large projects myself. And guess what? I showed those projects to other people and was open for people to give their opinions and criticisms on them. I didn't tell them they can't criticize it because it was in its early stages and that they've never made a project. No, I let them give their thoughts and criticisms. Were there any feedbacks here and there that were rude or mean? Of course there were, but I still took those as feedback. That's how my projects got improved, got polished, and had a better finish as a result, and I'm glad for it. I tend to favor things being smooth, and in the case of games, I would make sure and prioritize that my game is smooth and does not have any bugs or glitches, because I want the first impressions to be good and make sure that people play a smooth game. Maybe you prioritize other things, and that's okay, we are different people after all. You made this argument twice, so lets see what you will say about it now. I hope you're not one of those people who don't like getting criticism or things that you made get criticized, because if you are, and you are a grown adult, you are going down the wrong path in life and this will bite you in the future. From what I can tell, and I could be wrong, you love this game and try to defend it from people saying bad things about it. You don't want anyone to say anything bad about this game because its still being worked on. Let me know if I'm wrong. But if you are, hey, that's okay :) Nothing wrong with that. I'm glad you're standing up for a game that you like. You might love this game and want to be sure that it will be the best zombie survival game ever made. I want it too, because it has great potential. I love the atmosphere of this game, and I love the mist event. I love that the enemies are actually fast and scary, and you need to make every shot count to kill them. I'm just saying things are buggy and glitchy right now, and now is the time, in Early Access, to point those out so that in the full release, the game will be smooth, polished, and amazing to play. I am fully aware that this game is made by one person, and I know he/she can make this into an amazing game. No hard feelings, alright bud :) Apologies for the giant wall of text

I played this game about 3 years ago or so and damn it was SO DIFFERENT and soooooooooo rough around the edges. It looks so much better and plays so much better now. I hope to see it completed in the next 2 - 5 years. It looks so good so far. Damn...

How the heck do you equip a weapon. No matter what I do I can't equip any of the items I pick up and only have Fists

If I remember correctly, you need to go into your inventory and drag the weapon to a slot....but it's been awhile since I played. Let me know if you still need help I'll jump in the game and refresh my memory :-)

So for me there easy too much explanation and tutorial, I get this is labeled a beginners guide but I hope you do a series on this with more immersion into the game, all that being said several people have channels where they play this but I literally can't stand their personality, it's way too goofy and annoying to me. I'm gonna keep watching this series because I like your more serious personality and hope it'll get less tutorial like. Maybe it'll get less that way as the series goes but you do have one great thing going for you, you sound like an adult not a goofy kid who act's like a cartoon character

@@theFrostySurvivor Actually I watched your 2nd video in the series and it's already getting that way, by immersion I meant more like you're there, which for me is just less like an instructional video on how to play, what does what, which I know some people like, I'm just speaking for myself, but as you go it's getting better, you're not explaining how to do stuff over and over again, so I'm good, keep it up. I've watched 10 or 12 different people playing and you're the first that wasn't either annoying me with goofy antics all the time or acting like they have ADHD . 👍

Just in general or in the beginning of the video? This was literally my first video ever, so it's a bit rough around the edges. I'm working on my next game series now so I'd like to know if I was talking too much throughout, or just in the beginning of the video. This was a beginner's guide so there is definitely a lot of explaining about how the game works. I do appreciate the feedback. It's the only way to get better!

Does loot respawn in this game ?

I honestly don't know. I thought I noticed some loot in places where I thought I already took everything after Day 30 but I'm not sure. Definitely not in crates or drawers, but just the stuff that's laying around.

I played the original State of Decay when it first came out for about an hour and just didn't care for it. But since then, I see lots has changed and I definitely want to give it a try. My understanding is that the Dev on this game is working on the original map so we have more than one place to go. I like that concept. Sounds like I'd like the updated State of Decay games.
