on the last podcast they said this was the very first thing they shot. they didnt even have a proper stage yet so maybe there was still working things out so the audio wasn't as great as it is is in the other episodes

So, I was cheesing from cheek to cheek at this interview. I'm so proud of all 3 of you Kid Furry, Crissle, and Missy! Kid Furry and Crissle, yall have come so far! It brings me joy to see yall win! Missy... you are, as you already know, an icon! You set bars so high that they have yet to be reached. I love all 3 of you!

When Missy ended with "God said everybody that doubted you. Ima show you what I can do in 3 minutes." Literally, that's my word for the day! God will take your circumstances from years of hurt and pain and in less than 5 minutes turn it all around.

I bought her single from Target when I was 9. At 29 I listen to metal and heavy rock but I still listen to and always will love her & her music! She pushes the boundaries with music and that's brave! True Queen 👑❤

I'm so glad I grew up in the era of the boy bands, girl groups, Janet, Mariah, Anita, Aretha, Whitney, Busta, and Missy Elliot...to name a few. Music now is not nearly as good as it was then. Congrats, Missy on not just paving the way, but uplifting everyone to a higher standard. A true icon!!!👸🏾

Don’t usually care for interviews, even with artists I LOVE like Misdemeanor Melissa Missy Elliot the Queen. But I really enjoyed this one! Her vibe is so laid back and mature and thoughtful. It’s crazy because I grew up watching Missy on jukebox (old school videos channel) and mtv and bet. Now I see her, both the same age, and I’m like “damn we came a long way.”
