I had a really hard day, and Mousie confusing the Rockettes with Rockefeller has at least a temporarily made everything okay. It made me laugh so hard it was lile therapy.

Kinda wish they did in fact add a Lewis Rage meter just for the gag of shooting it up past 10 when Duncan goes "actually there's no cactuses"

"Confidently wrong" is Lewis' default setting. He'll make a mistake, chew everyone else out over it and if he's proven wrong will ignore or brush over it.

IIRC it was basically a trio of businessmen that controlled everything. During the largest expansions of the US, Carnegie had a monopoly on Steel, Vanderbilt's had a monopoly on Rail and Rockafeller had a monopoly on Fossil fuels. And they were all illuminati'd in with each other to set the prices and rake it in from the government. Rail needs Fuel and Steel to function for the cars and tracks and the ability to move, Government needs steel for building, Rail is the only way to get things anywhere. Boom! Elitist mafia is born. They are still around today. Like Anderson Cooper (CNN Host) is son of Gloria Vanderbilt (Heiress to the Vanderbilt legacy).

Rockefeller was also kinda shady and maybe lobbyed and pushed for public school system for more educated workers in his plants. His oil company also was forced by the US government to break into a lot of different ones but then Rockefeller just bought up a bunch of small companies so he still had a semi monopoly. I also sadly, despite being a literal US History Major, constantly mix up Rockefeller and Carnegie. Like don't get me wrong they were both kinda bad but at least Carnegie was very big on philanthropy and donated like 80% or something like that of his money and supported progressive and estate taxes. Carnegie also died in the 1910s so wasn't the case of Rockefeller just having all this wealth while the country literally starved.

in retrospect it seems his difficulty was trying to make it recognizable but still entirely grayscale stone, which does in fact seem pretty tough when the usual Lewis build is "red block on black block"

I'll always love how Much Lewis will dog a specific person for the builds he gets(and now the prompts ^^), and he's never right. Holy cow do I feel sorry for the accidental victim though. I'm sure they talk it out if it's an issue (and clearly Mousie was very amused), but I know how that impacts some people. Props to the Yogs who take it in stride!

5:30 Lewis has lost it a lot faster than normal this episode. Everyone laughing and losing their minds is why I love this stuff! Absolutely hilarious!! I'd love to see Lydia, Bekkiboom, or Simon on this!

Well, the place the Woman do the Can-Can dance is at Rockefeller plaza. Which is a huge office skyscraper that was founded by one of the wealthiest American families. Fun Fact: One of the kids of the Rockefeller was an avid adventurer. Who sailed his boat around the world. He crashed off the shore of Papua New Guinea. He swam to shore and was never seen again. There are theories one is he was killed and eaten by the natives. Another is that he ended up joining a native tribe to get away from his rich lifestyle. There are some photos out there that shows a white man with the natives.

Slight side note, I recently found out the Vietnamese name of the Sydney Opera House is the Clam Theatre (in the basic form), so Mousie's build doesn't seem to far off.
