Wished they would display what speed they were running when they crossed the line like they did in the bagger race.

What a race!

We need a road racing, with American brands, round track series. When these bikes go up on the banks, it’s badass! It could be like today’s board track racing.

Too manly of a sport in today's society, not mention the economy really sucks for the average American. I don't attend near the number of races I used to becuase of this.

Stick and ball sports is what's wrong. Any motorsport seems to be either Nascrap, drag racing, Indy. Small engine motorsports is accessible, relatable, and affordable. I do think if big sports corporations and big media would get their monopolized grip off stuff, the doors would break wide open for something worthwhile in the USA and it would move from obscurity to something more mainstream. The economic situation in the USA is at the top of the list of problems. There's barely enough money to cover the bills, much less spend on recreation. Which is what happens when an anti-Constitutional regime shuts down energy production and sends most all manufacturing and agriculture out of the country.

shame they cant race the FZ 09 or Z9 or speed triples. just seems like things are geared to fit a certain brand that draws fans to a low attendance race series

They can. There are two MT-09 SP entered for the 2024 season, along with a Victory Vegas, various Aprilia twins, a few Buells Suzuki Sv1000 and other cool bikes. Daytona is very expensive to race for privsteers, so what you going to see there are them racing stuff that pays factory contingency money.

@@deweysturgill6220 Super Hooligans has strict rules about engine configurations. I don't recall triples and fours being allowed.

@@exothermal.sprocket Roland Sands said it himself, MVAGUSTA., MT/FZ09, and one other are eligible(. Forgot which one have to watch the interview again) It's in the Motoamerica rule book. A MT-09 was in the field but dnf he had a nasty high side twds end of race. First race he and the guy on the sv1000 crashed out. I ride an 22 MT09 it's a hoot of bike. Love seeing it and all the other naked twins and triples reminds me of the old sound of thunder series. Think it's great for the sport.
