Mission Malawi - Mission Dawah: Africa
iERA visited the East African country of Malawi in April 2011 on a fact finding mission with a view to setting up dawah operations in the country.
As a result of that trip, we are now poised to send our next team to Africa that will seek to continue the movement of dawah that has been started in the UK, but on a global scale.

In Malawi, we met the head of the leading dawah organisation, the Islamic Information Bureau (IIB) which has established over fifteen dawah centres nationwide in Malawi and were given the opportunity to deliver a dawah training seminar to over thirty members of IIB's frontline dawah team.
Even though the aim of our trip was a fact finding one, we never missed an opportunity to give dawah and were blessed with a local Malawian taking his shahada with us. See 12:21

We are a part of life. I agree with mohdriyasi. I am a covering Muslim woman and those women were not scantily clad, and in fact seeing how many of the Muslim women were not wearing hijab shows how desperate the situation is there and that this project is very important. Ease up. I know how these brothers work, and generally you don't see sisters in the videos, in fact I think that sisters should be shown, if even from behind in some of their promo videos. iera, I love you for the sake of Allah.
I will come this country for Islam
Let us find out what these people do before criticizing. After all, missionary works around the world (be it Christianity or Islam) have helped make the lives of people much better than their previous existence, fact. Religion if used in its true sense can yield even better results. I feel Islam with its universal brotherhood message is sure to help here. Let everyone do their bit according to their vision, as long as it is not harming anyone. And I feel these guys are not of the thumping kind.

he also said that it was god who was holding the universe together (stopping the force of gravity coming in on itself) we now know that dark matter is what stops this. i dont see how the universe is the reflection of a creator when their are blaring errors with his designs (black holes, pulsars, human imperfections).

Then being underdeveloped has much to do with the local govts and its internal affairs. I ask those who criticize each and every good intended works, to bring about their theories of removing poverty and put that into practice as soon as possible.

Your entire outlook is incorrect. Cancer is not a flaw, nor an imperfection. Rather it is a perfection in the sense that it is part of what God has Willed and Created. In this world there are trials and tribulations. The only place free of that is Paradise, and for that you have to strive to please your Lord, through good times and hard times. Be grateful and don't just focus on the negative.
