@@BS-vq9gg It's sometimes erroneously attributed to a fan film called World's Finest that came out in 2004. However, the film borrowed it from the graphic novel JLA Liberty and Justice that came out the previous year. In it, the Justice League, minus Batman, visits the Pentagon at the request of the government. Batman chooses to enter on his own terms and is hiding up in the ceiling monitoring the meeting, much to the surprise of the telepathic Martian Manhunter.

Could you believe SOME of the secruity features presented here are already present in our smartphones? Also if only USB sticks were already a thing back then, these guys jobs would be easier. Also another cool thing is that the main hero kept engaging in more and more dangerous heists. This to me is the best Spy series ever
Poor William. That hot girl poisoned his coffee which causes him extreme nausea and nonstop vomiting. Nausea and vomiting suck. Then they transfer him to Alaska as if he was supposed to know somebody would poison him at work. What a terrible work day. And they basically ruined his life. Poor guy. Honestly he should have just went to the bathroom then they wouldn't have the login info. He was obviously feeling very ill on the way to the terminal. The groaning and facial expressions made that clear.
It would be poetic if the analyst ended up being the main antagonist in the new MI film.

While this one is my favourite, they’ve actually nailed the balance I think. It’s not like the difference between The Fast and the Furious to Fast X (or MI1 to MI2 for that matter) they’ve simply incorporated more action into the story whilst still retaining the spy elements. It’s a brilliant series, the only one that isn’t brilliant is MI2, but even it has its moments, such as the twist death involving the mask, what a brilliant move that was!
@rafaellima83
11 ай бұрын
@@horrorfanandy4647 MI2 is by far the worst in the series. I remember this one being criticized back in the day, it was sold as a heavy action move and it wasn't one. Like you said, the only action sequence is really on the train (and its awesome). Within the years, I've seen more and more people actually appreciating what this movie is: An excellent spy movie with an amazing tension scene at the middle and great sequence at the end. MI2 was garbage and MI3 is pretty good for what it is, but from MI4 onwards (which is when, if I'm not mistaken, Tom Cruise begun having a heavy hand as a producer) the series went to heavy excellent well scripted action sequences to show how Tom Cruise basically became a western Jackie Chan, while still keeping good stories while, as you say, retaining the spy elements. And, IMO, from MI4 onwards the series had a huge spike on its quality, MI4 was better than all the previous one, and each movie afterwards managed to be better than the previous one which is really amazing since MI4 was already damn excellent. And funny you mention the F&F series. I had just randomly watched F&F 7 on TV before going to the movie theater to watch the new MI, and it hits me how those MI movies work so well because Ethan Hunt is a damn badass who do some amazing, unbelievable stuff but he NEVER stops being human. He slips, he feels pain, he gets dizzy, he gets confused, he's played out... while Toretto became a super human with super powers.

MI2, Fallout, DR1 are definitely too much action. But Ghost Protocol and Rogue Nation are definitely very very spy movies too, the latter even in a more traditional way. Dont be blinded by nostalgia man, Vienna Opera is 10 times this scene.

Meh. Ideally the coffee would keep him sick in the bathroom for the entire time they're there. Or even better if he throws up in the outer room or hallway which would gain more time since he'd have to clean that up. Then when it's over and he's feeling better, they already left with the list. Or if this Donloe guy were like most people, he'd go home early for the day.
@piercebrosnan9528

The floor was pressurized to a weight limit, the temperature alarm would go off with two people so close to each other.
When you think about it, in a way it would have been easier to knock off the dude. When he was in the room, all the alarms were off so him coming back could have been an asset. But then again, this would have made this scene so much less intense ha ha

Also, he didn't notice or hear something being squirted into his coffee which was in his peripheral vision. Then she touched his shoulder and he barely noticed that. He seems clueless if not stupid.
