This woman's husband was a soldier, and, one day, he didn't go back home. At first, he was only considered to be missing, but then she had to bury him.
She moved on with her life, taking care of their daughter, and, 3 years later, she married another man.
However, her life took a turn when, after 3 more years, someone knocked on her door and left her in complete shock.

I feel sorry for James. He doesn't deserve that. She can't just put him aside when her real husband showed up. It's still unfair to him to be ditched that easily. He helped and saved her from tragic loss and depression for her to move on and provided everything they need. But that's what he get? I hope he don't commit suicide when he said he's going to the cabin in the woods with that gasoline.

This... THIS! I can say with my whole heart I was touched in a way unexplainable. I was a military wife. My husband is a disabled veteran from the first Gulf War. My heart ached during this whole thing, even the ending. The acting is undeniably award worthy. The daughter did awesome. Thank you again and again for never disappointing your audience. As I have written before, the actors that played the two husbands can star in their own TV series. They are that good at acting and have charisma. All the actors did excellent work and the sound editing with the music, setting the mood was excellent. The artistic direction of the episode was impeccable. The story and dialog hit all the tropes of a forgotten hero returning to find his wife in the arms of another. You once again out did yourselves on this production. You stepped up and really set the emotions and drama on overload. Thank you again for an emotional home run, DramatizeMe! You make inspiring videos that we care about and that teach life lessons. Bravo!

@turetskiy.shpion. I think her daughter comes into the equation as well and definitely the most important element in that equation. If her daughter does not have such a connection with her biological father and has embraced her stepfather like her own probably it would be easier for her to make a decision and move on. But that is not the case, she definitely would not do something that would make her daughter hate her for the rest of her life for letting his biological father walk away from home neither is she ready to lose her daughter (physically or emotionally).
I felt sorry for the new husband. You could tell he was heartbroken.

A beautiful story. I can't imagine this situation . A soldier coming back after a few years missing. Never in my life can I know how this feels.

This is such a great and sad story. A soldier was "dead", his family suffered a lot. A husband suffered because he loved the woman he would never have. I think all the characters deserve to be happy. Good job, thank you.

The husband owed her a big explanation of what happened to him for 6 years if wasn’t dead might not be easy to tell her but deserves to know where he was all that time

I feel soo bad for james. My heart almost aches for him. Gosh. What's sad is that there are sooo many guys like him that help women get through their tragedy and then when the tragedy is gone and they are thrown away like they were absolutely nothing.

She never stoped loving the first husband his ghost was always in the relationship haunting the present husband , what a story. A best seller.
I feel so sorry for the man who the woman married at the second time. He seemed like a really amazing person to have been there for the mother of the child when their hopes were shattered yet when the soldier arrived, he had to leave his family and the worst thing was that he knew that he had been the second wheel all along…

I really do feel sorry for James because he was there all this time and then when her husband showed back up after 6 years the daughter and wife just automatically looked away💔 But the daughter really acted like he was a stranger and I found that to be heartless from her side. Well the law is to my understanding is that if the first spouse returns in situations like this that the second marriage is null and void. Unless the first spouse steps away.

Message of the story: Women use you to get a good life and the moment they don't need you they throw you away. Tbh there wasn't even a dilemma, she wanted to get rid of the second husband from the beginning

Someone gets it atleast 😂😂 The New guy was nothing more than an ATM for her, became a dad and provided to someone who replaced him in a second In the end got a "nice guy" speech as compensation while the old dude won everything (frankly he didn't, he picked his ex back and that's not something to celebrate but for him it's a "victory") The ultimate winner was mom and daughter who enjoyed benefits from both of them while offering honour to none

She just got married to the second husband to use him for his resources to have a comfortable life for herself and her daughther.
The portrayal of the emotional complexity of the wife's(Angela) character is incredible. does any one know the name of the actress?
