Where I'm from in the States, there is a local missing persons case, involving 3 brothers who went missing. They have never been found, and the father, who claimed at the time of the disappearance, told their mother that they would never be found, as though he knows something. He was convicted of unlawful imprisonment, related to the missing persons case. Whenever I think of missing people, I think of the Skelton boys, who have been missing for over a decade now -- and every time I do, I listen to "Somewhere" by Within Temptation, as the lyrics seem to be sung from the perspective of a someone who is missing their loved ones.
Wait so why did these people go missing? Did some of them run away and decide to reappear later? I’m confused how some of them are just calling their loved ones out of the blue

Some may have been taken, and finally managed to have seen that they were being looked for, then managed to contact their families
I send my prayers to all families and friends whom are missing loved ones. Never give up hope, for there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
How sad for these people and how sad to hear today that Peter Lawrence died last thursday. Peter may you rest in peace. God Bless.

I am following a course at the moment : Caring for children moving alone. Although this course was made for refugee children, who are spreading through out the world , they face very much the same dangers as our lost ones. I worked with refugees for many years. I thought I might mention this as concern is globally grown for all those under age moving. The focus in this course is also on the respect and care of those who may have lost their way. My heart goes out to you all.
My kids haven’t gone missing but they were kidnapped three months shy of a year now. And I can’t get the help with the law I need to find them. I wonder if I’ll ever see them all again….. thank you for this video I need hope. 😢

That’s something no one has the answers for! Sadly :( we don’t truly know, they could have runaway or kidnapped or worse😢
