because these cars MUST be exclusives for some skillful tasks. it's just unfair - getting a car, which was the rarest for 6 years, for one god damn backstage pass. so if all other functions of the game are avalaible, they should remain exclusive rewards

d_petrolhead I’m sure you mean well with your comment, but as someone who baught the delux edition of the game, for them to make all the dlc $1 a year into the game’s life cycle was a bigger slap in the face than if they were to make everything available right before the game’s shutdown.

To add them is at least they should do, but they better make them cost many CR/Forzathon points rather than block them behind backstage passes. The game eventually will go down and it will bring happiness to all players, new ones as well as they will have to play the game further to buy those backstage rare cars. Motivation will be also there.

They should add the ford fe for the superstar card. If it wasn't impossible to get the ranked drift & ranked playground games card it would be different. The auction house isn't a realistic option akin to banking on winning the lottery.

I'd definitely support the Capri FE being added to backstage as it's almost impossible now to complete the entire star card

Ngl I just want to get the horizon superstar starcard, but forza PLEASE just add every rare car the the backstage pass!

I bought the Rip Rop last week at auction. There were some of them about 12 millions.

Why did they lock cars behind the eliminator in the first place? Not everyone cares to play it, personally I think it should've never existed, but I still respect the people who do enjoy it. I don't mind that the Porshe preorder car is exclusive to there still since it is an alternate version of a standard car buyable in the Autoshow and I don't care to get it, but the Cougar Eliminator is as far as I know only in FH4 and is only obtainable from the eliminator mode. I would be happy to see the Cougar return in FH5 sometime soon.

I'm just glad they're bringing a good chunk of the seasonal exclusives to the backstage pass, especially cars like the Toyota AE86 or MR2 because people who list them at auction often do so for ludicrous prices due to rarity. So to some extent I'm glad that this kinda makes them more avalable to newer and older players, making the value less for those price scalpers of the game.

I wish the Austin taxi story edition was still around (the drag one from the story mission). I got one for 6k off the ah and had it for a few months before it was taken out my garage

As a proud owner of all those rare cars mentioned i would kinda be dissapointed if everybody can have em suddenly. On the other side i know the frustration of having no chance to get some cars from FH3 cause i got the game too late for some....

one of my dream cars was the Porsche 928 GTS and was not a backstage nor a reward car from any other source on the game, I fought myself thru the auction house to find one and luckily I managed to snipe one out, hopefully the backstage and rest of cars I wanna have do appear in the backstage, also hopefully forza makes the backstage have a rotation update where every time passing the list swaps to different cars to get and if you need an specific car you'll have to wait till the list rotates till it shows your needed car

I havent play FH4 for almost 3 years, and come back some weeks ago. I have almost all cars from this (even Regalia). except Ford Capri FE i think. Also i have purchased Alfa Romeo 155, Rover SD1, Napier, both toyota mr2, Trueno, GT2000, Mini cabrio, Citroen DS and a dozen of rare cars from auction house - it was rather tricky, but also i have been lucky, and have bought some cars for cheap price - for example - 12 million 928 gts i have bought for 100+k, the same story with Hennessey Velociraptor. Spending hours of sniping in AH, i havent seen any 03 Renault clio V6, 85 Mazda RX7, Mazda RX3. Also i have seen old Toyota corolla only for 2 times, but they were 15-20 mil. and i haven't got money for that time.

when they update the backstage pass, are they just adding all the festival playlists exclusives and preorder cars into the backstage pass or are they also removing any of the cars already existing in the backstage pass too?

Will the star cards involving seasonal championships/ pr stunts still be doable in the future?

I never got the online ranked star card and the creative star card. So i do hope they add the ford capri... but i did get both quartz

Those are the tough star cards for a lot of people.. if they don’t add them to backstage, we’ll see what we can do. Try out the Quartz cars! Type D was fun to use in the gameplay 😃

IDK if youll see this but we should do a star card run for the online bit. do a livestream to get people online and get them searching for a ranked drift adventure if there is at least 8 ppl it will start

I thought the other non-included cars was okay, but the fact that the Quartz Regalia and Regalia D (both of my favorite cars that I've always wanted in FH4) are basically never gonna be available for me just makes me want to go back in time and stop the first Final Fantasy game from being made so I can not have to worry about that car(s)

Fyi the Regalia Type D is actually a car reward from the regular Regalia's car mastery skill tree so that makes the regalia type D an invalid car since you can get it from the regular Regalia's car mastery tree

In the playlists they always put the reward car on the cover of the challenge and in this winter season they give you the "Supra 98'" while the car on the cover is the Regalia Type D

I got my Capri fe from the action house.

Is it just me or what bc the ranked drift adventure doesn’t work and I need that to complete my challange card.

I’ve had the disc ultimate edition since release and I’ve been playing it perfectly fine with the DLC and ultimate bonuses on game pass digitally, (apart from the DLCs not working recently) if I buy the standard edition digitally will it work the same? (Ultimate dlcs work normally) I assume it’s being taken off game pass

The quartz was removed from festival playlist so it isn’t able to get in the game anymore except for on auction so it probably won’t be in backstage because that was why it was removed last time

Question! I forgot to purchase the Hot Wheels DLC pack and now it says free. Thats all great, but trying to download or add it? It takes me to the store then shows an error. Should I contact Microsoft? Or… has anyone else had this issue?

I may have a theory for the Capri FE sending you the message about it being part of mastery : perhaps that down the line, the car was indeed meant to be one of those " unlockables" via the Mastery, but got quickly put as a reward instead since there were already too many FE Masteries bring there They straight-up forgot about the message and called it a day 😂

I do have my OneX and it logs in using the same account for the game as my steam copy does. Picked up the ultimate version in steam so it had the two expansions and the car pass cars. Multiple Capri FE, F 812 and regalia's just sat in the Xbox save stuck.

Why cant i get my dlc cars, this is bs, i paid for the premium and had all the dlc cars and now they are blocked.

Honestly I don't mind certain cars being restricted. Sure, it makes the game more grindy but it players the opportunity to actually earn the vehicles rather than just buying a Backstage Pass A lot of ppl are complaining about the fact that the online matchmaking system isn't perfect and it makes some challenges a pain. I agree with that. But I still feel keeping cars restricted to rewards is still a good thing. Keeps the player coming back to try and earn them

I hope this includes Napier Railton or w/e it's called. Aside from the preorder and Capri FE, it's the only car I don't own. I also don't mind the Capri FE staying exclusive to the star card. You can get the regular car and if you really want that car, you have to be committed. It's a badge of honor that would be pretty lame to just have given away to everyone with a backstage pass. Gameplay wise it's not like it's pay or grind to win so there's no balance reason it needs to be easily achievable.

I don't want to have to traipse through the Eliminator, a mode I hate especially in FH4, for two cars. The 911 Pre-order and Mercury Cougar should be added to that Backstage pass list.

Alright, time for a little hot take: In my personal opinion, for the cars which are still obtainable via the challenges and what-not, those should stay like such, and should not be added to the back-stage. While yes, I agree with the frustration of most because it's really hard to get the cars, in my opinion it should stay like that. Now why? because in my personal opinion, there should still be maybe a rare car or 2. And admittedly, I am insanely biased because I own THREE Ford Capri FE editions, I just personally think, that because they're pretty much throwing the rarity of every other car, I feel 1 or 2 cars should be allowed to keep their rarity.

NGL Regalia Type D should be banned from online play. If you spec it, it wins all cross country (or is it dirt? Or both?) B class 100% of the time. You may not win the freeroam point to point race, but all the actual races are absolute cakewalks. I have won every single race with only like one other person finishing. It's ridiculous. If it's Goliath or whatever it's called as the final race, you'll finish the race before they hit 90%. You just have so much more grip no matter what; ice, dirt, mud, rain, snow, etc; nothing stops the Type D. I never played against the Trac-tor back when the game was at its peak, but this has to be just as OP. Trophy Truck is notorious in A-class CC, but I've made a limo build that consistently beats Trophy Truck (you definitely have to be good at cross country cuz it takes more skill that Trophy Truck). You can't beat a Regalia Type D in B-class no matter what build you have. Period. It's broken as hell. I can upload a share code for each if anybody wants to try them for themselves.

I'm truly impressed by amount of people in comments, who can't accept that getting a car may be more difficult than paying 20 million credits 💀 Also completing full collection is going to be way easier, but still crying about like 5 cars. Get better rookies

Hey Forza, don't cheap out. I don't understand why you all did not announce this shutdown a month prior. Thank you @Stevio2175 for all of this info. I feel at least the majority of cars should still be available until this game is delisted.
