Marvellous...Music comes back to the Liturgy, for that it was composed! Very fine, the clear "German pronounced" Latin! But I miss the liturgical pieces for singing, which was mit composed by W.A. Mozart: Graduale "Requiem aeternam" and Tractus "Absolve Domine"... They are to sing das Gregorian chant! The "Organ"...is it a "Viscount" Keyboard!? ;-)

In my hometown, we have planned, i gather all musician, would have mass with Salieri's Mass, Proprium with Gregorian Chant, and and some Palestrina Proprium if able. Moreover, Benedictus was sung from the moment of the bell ringing - but that is the right moment when Sanctus should be finished and Benedictus is to be sung only after the Transsubstanciation. Maybe next time ... ;-)

Yes, they messed it up then. They had instructions from me, but they somehow forgot about it. But in Banská Štiavnica they played it well during the funeral mass.

Very good interpretation, very good ensemble, but WHY FOR GOD'S SAKE was it necessary to occupy the presbytery??? It looks like it is the ensemble who is the most important at the holy mass. Many attending people could think this was not a holy mass but a concert. Aplaudisment ! P.S: Not enough room up at the choir? Reduce the number of players but never go to the presbytery!

Many protestant composers are played in catholic churches, too. I agree with you: the less the better.
