I'm missing the subtlety of Charlie Watts' playing actually. Steve Jordan is more of a banger. At least they are still going.

Me too, Steve Jordan does a great job, very solid but no one like Charlie's groove. Cheers from Argentina!

@@lindaread9838 I doubt Charlie really had much say in it, to be honest, Jordan has been working with Richards for 30 years. I never liked the sound of the X-Pensive Winos much, either. Charlie was a jazz drummer, Jordan has an impressive CV but you can tell within a couple of beats that it's not Charlie behind the sticks. Jordan is way too loud, he needs to be lower in the mix somehow. Just my take.

The Rolling Stones faded away in the early 70s. I witnessed their peak in San Francisco during the 72 tour at Winterland this is just some OLD men trying to capture some magic, unfortunately they fail, Mick Jagger looks like he's having an episode. I was a super fan back in the day, but wouldn't walk across the street to see them now. Contrast this mess with Judas Priest Rob Halford who at 73 can hit all the high notes just as he did back in the day. Sad.

What happened to the line about Puerto Rican girls who want to meet you. I hate to see how bands are forced to censor their lyrics these days because of the Woke lefts influence ? Can we go back to when music and literature were uncensored ?
