I’m halfway into this episode typing this message, but my personal opinion is that I feel leadership is to blame and probably lack of resources and funds to help these young women be the title holders they deserve to be. God bless the women and the organization and hope they find solace and healing. ❤️

Well done Nia, loved your insights on this. I especially love that you highlighted that you’re able to speak about your experiences as Miss USA, but Noelia, and anyone in the Miss USA _right now,_ cannot 💔 We all were so excited and hopeful when Laylah originally took on the position as the owner, but now we are so disappointed and horrified. There’s got to be something sinister going on behind the scenes when you intentionally silence anyone in your organization with an NDA. Speaking of public leaders, and the very ‘advice’ she gave to Noelia where “you can’t control what people say to/about you as a public figure”, it shows the organization is confident in its leadership when they give their employees and participants the right to free speech. Laylah is giving dictator vibes, very fragile about what people say about her and the org, and would rather control and micromanage. I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t want a dictator running Miss USA 🙈 Look at all the Asian countries _giving their winners a whole freaking team_ to ensure *their winner’s* success and to show other girls that winning under their org is a perk!

That’s what I think too. Noelia’s letter was already published by various media outlets. In her letter she states the details of the alleged abuse by the organization, which means she already disclosed the reasons why she resigned. I don’t think she understands what a real NDA is.

@Roma-SRyan MUO as a whole is not a brand that can stand on its own and Trump understood that. His company was the only thing keeping it afloat and once it was sold to IMG that's when it all fell apart. If people weren't so sensitive when he announced he was running for office we'd be in a much better position. If you had any form of impropriety any of the Miss USAs could have come forward but none have and it's been years. That alone speaks volumes. Even Oxana Federova the original MU2002 who resigned didn't have anything negative to say about Trump.

@@DigimonisbetterthanpokemonWith Trump, the ladies got the Hollywood treatment. You're not walking away from that opportunity. That continued with IMG somewhat because they still had decent coins and good connections. Today, Miss Universe is still flying on private jets and doing the thang living the lifestyle bc the Thai ladyboy has coins and connections and she partnered up with the Mexican and Latinos and Asians show up for the pageants girls internationally!! As for Miss USA, right now the money isnt coming in, the connections arent coming in and that's the real problem
