I think Philippines is definitely a front runner and has just as good of a shot as South Africa or any other contestant. I wouldn’t count anyone out at this point!

Phillipines is overhyped by the Filipinos just like in Misa world 2016, there are many more beautiful and intelligent woman than her. She is basically just a model. The judges saw it in 2016 and they will now too. For me its South Africa, India, Puerto Rico, Canada, Lebanon, Vietnam that has more to offer than Philippines.

You got it all wrong. Just by looking at them SUBSTANTIALLY not only as to form, I picked Miss Philippines as the Miss Universe. If there is someone overhyped or something, I guess its Colombia. She's not so so, if you know what i mean. She's lacking spark of becoming Miss Universe. Vietnam is a model-type woman and seemingly concern only with make-ups. Canada is somehow overrated. South Africa is good for 1st runner up and Puerto Rico in 2nd runner up. Two ladies deserves to be in Top 5 should be Venezuela and USA.

Well, good thing you said that you pick SA as the winner as of now because our predictions would vary from time to time (unless if one is biased) leading up to the most important events like the prelims and the finals night. For me, my winner would still be Miss Philippines and 1st runner up would be Puerto Rico and to complete my top 5 would be USA, Mexico and South Africa as of now.

I think back to back is very posible. Puerto Rico has to be in there. I think Ireland and Peru will get in the top 15. Ireland maybe top 10

I think one big miss on your list was not including Miss Puerto Rico. I have been watching her and she is amazing. Once the contestants start arriving in Thailand, she will shine. It has been a few years since Puerto Rico placed, and with a new administration at the helm of the Miss Puerto Rico organization, I feel confident that Kiara Ortega, Miss PR, is doing everything right and has a great team behind her.

I do like Japan a lot and Guam has really been catching my eye lately too. Kenya is beautiful as well! There are a lot of girls that are super prepared to stand out!

Puerto Rico was in my initial group when I was picking my favorites, but I have over 30 favorites. I’d be very happy to see her place!

unbiased. africa is beautiful and relatively smart but she doesn’t have a pleasing personality. i saw one of her interviews and she couldnt ride the jokes of the hosts. it was sort of disappointing. catrionas edge over her is definitely her brain. you can pretty much ask cat anything and you’ll be blown away. she’s also more likeable - personality wise. tamaryn gives me weird vibes.

If back to back has happened m sure it can again. Miss S . Africa is a big threat. I know many ppl are happy when u say PH is a winner. Once u say no to her then they dont see a possibility of another person winning. I know if SA does not win merely bcz of last years victory, PR will win . SA is a threat period.
