All of this misses in that era, were looking a classy , and elegant.

The background music was by Deep Forest. A hauntingly beautiful and exotic melody, perfect for the best evening gown presentation ever. I wish they would bring back the little sisters. They were adorable.

With a little alterations, Venezuela, El Salvador, USA, and Colombia's gown can still be used in today's competition El Salvador's gown and styling is so forward that she can still compete today with her gown and look

I love the face of Miss Trinidad, looks like the Women's face in the 1950's . . .

La música insuperable, la melodia que tocaron al inicio era muy emotiva, y la siguiente que tocaron mientras las misses desfilaban era de impacto y bien africana, me encantó. Ahora las melodías que eligen no queda en la memoria.

Miss Colombia may be beautiful but not as intelligent as Miss India. And if you ask Miss India what she is doing, she also competed and reached that position. She would have been Miss Universe that year but USA got that title. top 3 yil The best answer was theirs. Hers is one of the best answers in the history of Miss Universe, not just that year

This is one of my favorite evening gown competitions in the pageant's history; from the choice of song, stage setting, and the contestants chosen weren't bad either. P.S. - I LOVE Miss Trinidad & Tobago's gown. She looked extremely elegant and rich! I think she could have walked right off that stage and attended a fancy gala.

No entiendo como la Miss USA fue dada mejor puntaje que la colombiana en traje de gala? Aparte de ser muy simplon, ordinario, y tan corto que parecia iba a cruzar un arroyo-de lindo, elegante, ni despanpanante tenia nada ese vestido rojo.

La gringa como siempre normales, rígidas y enanas, y terminan entrando a los top y ganando, las de Venezuela , dominicana y colombia eran enormes , y se la pasaban juntas en todo momento, es más la dominicana y colombiana aún son amigas, la más bella era El Salvador que debió quedar tomada de la mano junto a la canadiense!

Colombia looked like Belle...didn't it though. I think Puerto Rico nailed it. She also looked like a Disney princess, but she was elegant and charming. There was one (was it Venezuela?) who looked like a fitted blanket. Miss India was also nice.

Cada persona tiene criterio propio y eso es lo bonito y fino de la vida, para mi Venezuela sera la cuna de las mujeres mas lindas del universo y por algo casi siempre llegan al final o el cuadro de honor!

primero quiero decir que la Saez (MI 1981) que poca subjetiva es, la dio 9.9 a la venezolana en traje de baño y gala y pues creo que ella no era la que más resaltaba esa noche y la Miss el savador muy hermosa sólo le faltó un poco más de actitud y la Puerto riqueña muy hermosa

le faltaba brillo a esa nena y bastante, cierto.

Me pregunto porqué a los desfiles de traje de noche ya no los musicalizan con la calidad de antes. Las melodías que acompañan a las mises de esos años eran inolvidables.

La época en donde clasificavan las más hermosas.
