Wow. That was such a disappointing ending!! I thought the heavens would reward Long Yan for stopping the evil immortal of fate from absorbing the yin. Like seriously, did they not see what just happened in the mortal world? Why would Long Yan want to kill the love of his life?! I was hoping they would grant her another life to be with him. Ugh horrible ending!

I think living without the one you love is most painful than anything else. Dragon king sacrifices her for her happiness but she was not happy. She missed him painfully. If she can come to earth randomly so why are not they together. They would spend together only 1 day but happily with each other. And then she would die. Thus the dragon king would not get hurt also. He will wait for her next life.

I left a comment on this video. They got a very happy ending. If you watch carefully the episode when they married in heaven you can understand that nothing or no one could ever change that.
