wow, did they choose a swahili name on purpose. or does it have a meaning in twi as well? asking as a curious kenyan because Malaika= angel Malkia= queen theres one more similar swahili word related to women, but its definitely not a compliment. Malaya. I will let you google tranlate that on your own😆

The inspiration is probably the queen meaning because it’s a beauty pageant as to the purpose I’m not sure but it’s a beautiful word your language is beautiful
