I think what is even better about Grand is that even the Top 10 got the opportunity to travel with the winner and do all these media tours until rnd of year. Never seen in another pageant that give the top 10 such experience.

The Singer that sang for the girls who is a part of the Miss Grand Thailand family is P'Engfa Waraha a Singer, that got famous from The Voice Thailand and for placing 1st Runner Up in last year's pageant to Brazil's Queen Isabella ❤ and i loved that segment of the show too. Also something I love about MGI is that it gives me exactly what I want from a pageant like from the productions to the activities to everything, that pageant is amazing I wish more people would realize that, the only huge - point that I do see for MGI is that Papa Nawat sometimes needs to realize he should shut his you know what, because he is harming his pageant that actually has everything to succeed even more then it already is succeeding.

Yes MGI is setting the bar in production

This was honestly such a great pageant but it was way too long if you were watching live. This batch of girls was so strong, loved the staging and the microphones!! When I was watching miss universe I was missing the microphones from grand. I was rooting for USA but Colombia, Myanmar and Peru all answer that question better. I would love to see Sthephanie compete at either Miss USA or Miss Puerto Rico again because I could see her doing a great job at Universe.

Puerto Ricans will always be proud and want to represent our country so I understand her moving back to try and represent her heritage for MUPR, and as a Puerto Rican that moved to the USA I also understand why she would want to represent her state at MGUS. It’s not like she moved to a place she had no connection to in order to obtain a title.

Thanks for the review of MGI this year, it's not as Grand as last year 10th Anniversary but it's still Great edition. Also thank you so much for being kind and respectful towards all contestants in any pageanty. I hope MGI could maintain their qualities and maybe even improve their brand 'Stop the War and Violence' by showing more charity and humanitarian actions like what they did in the past, so it could be a complete package pageant these days.

I will say that when USA said she would speak to the leader of palestine she was talking about Benjamin Netanyahu. We must remember that at one time Israel was called Syria palestina and Palestine. Those who are pro Palestinian do refer to it as that. It makes sense when she said people should not live in almost a holocaust without water. It is Palestinian people going through that not Israelis and it may have been confusing when using the word holocaust because it makes you think of the Jewish people.

Just out of curiosity, are you going to recap Miss Intercontinental this year again?

I read somewhere that Cat Gray said she got about 1000-2000 US dollars pocket money during her reign but maybe the 250K you mentioned including scholarships, cosmetic products, and other perks. MUO stopped publicly announcing the CASH Prize since Trump era, I wonder at these recent years, how much CASH prize all the winners in Grand Slam pageants actually get.

Miss grand has the production that rivals miss France universe. Interestingly enough miss grand winners always seem to come with some controversy. I’m a bit confused how Peru won if the final answer was the true deciding factor . Also after one aspect of competition without a min they made a cut ? Are there judges ? Or does mr nawat choose the winner ?

In all pageants, the final answer is not the deciding factor. They are ranked by overall impression at that point, not just their answer to the questions. Yes, you can seal the deal with an amazing answer but it’s not THE ONLY deciding factor. In MGI, scoring starts from the day 1 you land. Points are EARNED (not given) from the MGI Staff (Judges) throughout the many activities. Guest judges panel is 30% for the final night. It is the reason why they keep you to evaluate for a month! MGI tests the endurance, attitude, and character of the contestants. You have to be READY TO WORK any any given moment. 70% scores are back of the house. Activities, closed-door interviews, and preliminary night. 30% front-of-the-house swimwear, evening gown, Q&A. Nawat chooses the winner between the last two standing. Having the complete 4B criteria is the best fit for the organization. Must have Bubbly Personality that the fans love is key for MGI.

India should send Miss India Shweta Sharda for miss grand 2024...she is perfectly suited for the vibes and requirement of miss grand and she could potentially bring the first grand crown for India...pls pls her talent and gorgeousness should not be wasted ❤

Yeah the production is great but they really don't have a cause or purpose not to mention they don't have a panel of judges and the owner is the one who chooses the winner. This pageant to me is more on getting their next product ambassador to their pageant sponsors.

MGI needs to shorten the show but I love MGI. Its really the only other pageant I follow. Its a mix between Miss Universe and Drag Race and thats exactly what I want. I want to see actual women standing in their feminity the way gays do lol

Granted, the production is amazing. It's probably the best one in all pageantry. BUT... for all the speeches on peace, sadly this org has done nothing to walk the walk!

Lol. Who pays attention to MGI?😂 it’s basically dead.

I'm just going to say it... These contestants should never have been asked such questions about Palestine and Israel. Especially when neither of them are well versed on the conflict to be speaking on it in the first place. Judging from their answers they all think this started on October 7th but the Palestinian people have been living as 2nd class citizens in Israeli controlled Gaza for decades. Hamas is a resistance group, the real terrorists are Israel and America. 15,000 innocent Palestinians have been murdered by Israeli airstrikes funded by the American peoples tax dollars. How can anyone justify that? These contestants failed miserably in this section. They had an opportunity to stand on the right side of history and they all failed. I'm disappointed to see such uneducated and PC answer from women who should know better.

Myanmar? Really? She didn’t even deserve a spot for top 20 what kind of a joke is that.
