I just adore Misako, too. 😍 And you look fabulous! It's interesting that she said she wanted to get back to the "silhouette" in that last coord, and it looks like it's worn with no petticoat. 🤔

Misako is truly a gem, and I have much respect for her! As for ppl who have influenced me, TheStitchess on KZread did a video restoring BTSSB's Alice in Fun Fair JSK, which had been badly stained, and I fell in love with the print after seeing her close-up shots of it. I ended up purchasing the SK when it came up on Lace Market, and let me tell you, the stock photos on lolibrary really don't do the artwork justice. It's an Alice in Wonderland/carnival themed print that is the very embodiment of the word, "whimsy". I probably wouldn't have been interested in owning it if it weren't for those close-up shots because the print doesn't look like much from a distance and my main focus has been mostly acquiring solid pieces. But I'm glad I did. Sometimes I take it out of my closet just to admire the print.

There are so many dresses (both lolita and otome) that Misako has modeled that I would love to wear, namely the recent Innocent World OPs. I already owned Enchantlic Enchantilly's Little Briar Rose before I saw Misako had worn it during Hollow Mellow's Enchanted music video, and that fact made me adore the dress that much more. I also have the set for AATP's Kitten's Wonder Night Tea Party, which was coordinated rather simply on her.

I can't recall buying a specific dress because of someone, but I think street snaps have definitely made me want dresses that were previously not that important to me! Seeing Memorial Cake and Decoration Dream coorded, or at least outside of AP's terrible stock photos, pushed those dresses reallyy high on my WTB list! I really admire Misako's dedication to lolita as well. This was a super cute video!

It definitely does add sentimental thoughts and form attachments to the pieces that I have acquired. In recent years as I become older I’ve come to see my clothes as more than clothes. It’s stories and moments in time that I can remember and “re-live” so to speak when I wear it. Thanks for watching~!

@@DodotheExtinctisBlue I have dry skin, and I didn't feel like her masks were really doing anything for me, possibly even making my skin more dry. I prefer the effect of my aloe masks. But I still really enjoyed it just for the feeling of using her merch. I bought a whole box, so I'll give them another chance in the future. I've bought a couple of ETC dresses because of the print and then seen Misako wear them after, and that is also a nice feeling. I'm sure eventually I'll see something on her first and then buy it based on that.

I wanted everything she wore in her Lolita guidebook book thingy :') some baby and ETC things (and those Cerise style bows) I own are definitely her fault hehe

Haha, you should send Misako a bill for all the stuff she made you buy xD The only times I can remember wanting something myself because of other people was other lolitas within the communities (non-models/non-prominent figures). This is always the danger of watching haul videos and attending meetups, right? Shoutout to Miya No - thanks to her video I bought BtSSB's Sweet AIR MAIL from Sweet Kitty, she might be the most public person of the ones who has ever influenced me. ^^"
