zelivira of course but we usually close our eyes during the landing and the brain adjusts it so we always feel like our head doesn't change direction to keep us oriented.

@@ejandrews3065 Well yeah, for the Faith in Catalyst. However the original game's Faith is kinda ruthless. Consider how she kicked Jacknife out of the helicopter from the top of The Shard. The new Faith would suck Kruger's dick if he kindly asked.

GGP_Games i slowed it down and while it appears smoother in regular motion its like a messed up shoulder roll. She appears to go to the right shoulder (her head turning towards the left) then comes out with her hips and legs straight forward but slightly facing to the right as if she rolled over her left shoulder. Maybe im too critical as a parkour athlete but still. It should just be a shoulder roll.

WOW! I love the new roll and soft landing animations. Great job. Also, the comic filter is amazing, now the game looks like the Mirror's Edge comic that came before the game came out. I'm staying tuned....

Outlines are not cel shading. They never have been. What's happening here is pretty cool, it just isn't cel shading.

Yep. It's called Toon Lining. Cell Shading is rendering to mimic coloring of old cartoon Cels when they were drawn by hand. Never understood why it's so popular to call this the wrong thing.

BT -7274 Everything post The Wolf Among Us was just plain bad. Recycled outdated engine, recycled stories, recycled disappointment, recycled false choices.

Wow, modded visuals AND animations? After so many years, I just assumed this game couldn't be modded. (The mod scene is almost non-existent)

Well, Mirror's Edge runs on the Unreal Engine, so it was always possible.

The roll is actually realistic for once! Good job

Funny how the rolls here are better than the default ones in Catalyst.

This feels like what it should have always been, with how stylized the cutscenes were.

The new borderlands looks great.

appreciating new roll animation, as well as the general effort, but imo with cel shading the world now looks very dirty and overflown, something that directly interferes with the original aesthetics

I still love mirror''s edge's original art style. It's one that I would strive to replicate when making a game.

That roll is much more realistic than the stock one. As somebody who has had experienced with freerunning, that looks a little more proper, the only thing that could be improved is how the legs are straight before they hit the ground, they're usually straight when you're most of the way through the roll, when you can straighten them out ob the ground

The rolling over the shoulder animation looks so satisfying

2:00 This guy has some serious sharpshooter skills, Faith being such a nimble target.

I personally think that the opacity of lines is too high, it doesn't let you to focus on gameplay environment, it would be better to lower it a little bit. But what is the most important, objects should have lines opacity based on the distance between them and camera, it will allow player to focus on objects that are important for gameplay.

That roll reminds me Catalyst.

the depth perception is a little hard to get used to but other than that it's a beauty

i really like the roll idea but it think it could use some work, for example make it where the camera would change shoulders from left to right based off of your direction you are facing after the jump. all in all good mod though
