Good to see the handlebar stem has a flat side on it so its not wonky to the front wheel when its been highered or lowered. And at 17kg, its not going to eat too much into your payload. Cheers for this one folks 👍

Great balanced review Karina and Jules - this e-bike looks great for its size and such a low weight ideal for the motorhome or even the car boot! 👍 Perfect for sites just outside a town or city as a great way to get around on the quiet lanes and cycle paths, will check them out thanks 😁

A well presented review which covered all the points. I have had a test ride on one and I was impressed. As the reviewer said the ride comfort going downhill at speed is not the best, but within limitations it does a good job

I have Hitway. There is switch but it's not throttle switch. Technically it by pass the paddling sensor. It means I don't need to paddle just use the switch but it works as per I selected speed.. max 25 kmph.

Good vlog again Karina. I contacted the C&M Club yesterday to check on some cars for towing my caravan and also found out that the show at the NEC is going ahead in October but the C&M Club might not have a stand but that might change in between now and then. Debbie and myself are travelling down on the Thursday going to the show Friday and travelling home on the Saturday.

Nice review! Cool little bike, i have myself a Woosh Rambletta folding e-bike, they're great to ride, small wheels make it much more fun too. What is the gear ratio front/rear chainring sizes? 1 gear is a big drawback but i like the simplicity. Oh i hit 30mph on my folding bike down a hill and they get very wobbly at that speed!!! 25mph is probably the safe limit

Best bang for the buck!

I've had an ebike for 5 years. It too struggles a little with hills and, is twice the weight of the MiRiDER. It doesn't fold, but generally I've been very happy with it. it seems ebikes are evolving into pretty great machines and I thought the MiRiDER is in this category. The only thing I'm unsure about is having only one gear. Gtech have been making a single geared ebike for several years, as I'm sure have many other ebike manufacturers. Good review.

@@HereWeTow Having assistance really makes leisure cycling more enjoyable, both me and my partner have totally different e-bikes but as they're limited to 15.4mph we generally match each other cycling, and if you have health issues having electric power really helps.

40 miles is an impressive claim with a 250 watt version. Battery tech is getting better though. Think we should see pics of Jules on that bike. 😀 !

250 watt is the power from the motor not the battery capacity, the battery is 187wh (36v 5.2ah). It is the battery that determines mileage not the motor, although larger motors require more power and therefore bigger batteries. 40 miles is achievable when using the lowest power setting from a not-so-heavy rider and mostly riding on a flat track

There good but the 20 in tyres on the Estrille make it a stronger ride

No, but the MiRider does have the puncture protection product so unless you badly damage a tyre you shouldn’t get a puncture. You can find details on the website..I hope that helps 🤷🏼‍♀️😊

you just take it off like any bike. the motor is connected by a wire that can be disconnected easily

A nice looking bike, but the battery range is poor considering what is available on other e bikes. Having no gears makes it a big no from me.......if a fault occurs/battery runs out whilst out riding, given the weight of the bike having no gears will make pedalling quite hard.

Yes, it is limited, it is very good for short rides and local trips. I really enjoy this little bike but for anything more strenuous I would be looking at a Mark2 EBike. Have a lovely weekend, Karina

@@HereWeTow Many thanks for the suggestion, but have already looked at Mark2 bikes, but they do not have what I'm looking for. I already own a mountain ebike which I've had for 11 years and I'm after something smaller and no heavier than the 18kg that mine weighs. I'll eventually find something 🙂

Oh by the way don’t be fooled by the new spoked wheels being a weight saver. For the sake of a few ounces I’d sooner clean the mag wheels found on the s6 Onebot which is half the price for the same frame etc.

Thank you for watching..to be fair it is a very good folding e-bike and I can see why it’s very popular. If you just want an e-bike for short local trips when away in the Motorhome it is great. Would I take it on a 25 mile off road network ride..no. I didn’t find the battery life too bad to honest. Would I recommend it, yes. It’s well built and easy to lift, even for me, so it is practical. 😊

Looks ok .not overly impressed.
