There was in the episode Chat Blanc where Hawkmoth finds out that Adrien is cat noir and doesn’t even bat an eye. He only sees it as an opportunity to get the miraculous and using his feelings against him by threatening Marrientte’s life. He didn’t care how the revelation would affect how Adrien would feel. He only cared about himself.

Being expelled from the team of heros felt so bad for Chloe hope she redeem herself instead of being akumatized.

Fun fact: as much as Roger says he believes all citizens to be innocent until proven guilty, French law is actually the other way around. Unless you can prove your innocence, you're treated as a suspect.

Considering Gabriel’s canonical reaction to discovering Adrien was Chat Noir in the episode Chat Blanc was to reveal his own identity to his son in order to emotionally distress him enough to akumatize him, I have little hope it’ll be any better.

I think Lila should be first because Gabrielle is not as evil as her. When he akumatised the body guard he had Ladybug right where he wanted her but let her go to save Adrian and does love his son, also he say some good things to Marinette's work. And the only reason he is trying to get the miracules is to bring his wife back, so he has some redeeming qualities. Lila has no good qualities, AT ALL.

Gabriel is also hawk moth and yeeted his son to the Eiffel Tower in cat blanc and hawk moth tried to hurt master fu physically in miracle queen and he has put people in danger many times- if hawk moth didn’t exist none of the akumatized people would exist and in cat blanc he forced Marinette to break up with Adrien just so he could akumatize her. Not saying lie-la (see what I did there ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) isn’t evil but still

Ladybug Gamer Lila is still a child. Meanwhile Gabriel willfully manipulates his own son and repeatedly puts Adrien into harm’s way when he isn’t keeping the kid under literal house arrest and neglecting him and using Adrien’s desire for friendship as leverage against Adrien and those who care about him. Lila’s simply nasty with the potential to become worse, but her two main faults-compulsive lying to have the attention she craves, and a complete lack of empathy-are quite honestly signs of a severe mental illness she isn’t receiving treatment for. (Granted at this time she doesn’t WANT help, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t NEED it.)

Ladybug Gamer Oh she’s a fantastic antagonist and villain. But honestly? For a Nasty Kid Felix is worse than both Lila and Chloe combined (as he does actually have everything he needs with a mother who loves him, who is also just as nasty. But, unlike Lila and Chloe, that episode didn’t make me pity Gabriel at all. Grieving or not, he’s still an adult and pathetic)

@@toaster8094 I get that. I still find that Lila is a lot more slimy, deceitful and more evil. She claims to love Adrian but she does a lot more horrible things to him. And we see Lila do terrible things more than once. Yes Gabriel is Hawk Moth but his ultimate goal is to restore his wife. He basically just amps up the negativity that the people who get akumatized already have, where people like Lila and Chloe tend to cause those negative emotions. But Lila's selfishness and lack of caring about anyone is what makes me feel she's more evil than Gabriel. In the episode where Gabriel suspects Adrian of being Cat Noir and has the bodyguard akumatized, he begs Adrian to transform to save himself and when he doesn't, he makes the bodyguard let Ladybug go in order to save Adrian. Granted, with more and more time passing by, Gabriel I feel is just getting more desperate to get his wife back. Lila has always been selfish, greedy, manipulative and as an only child, used to getting everything she wants.

gabriel also has decent motivations for what he does- getting his wife back. lila is a compulasive liar who only cares about herself and possesing adrian because hes popular. shes underhanded, sinister, and would totally woulda killed some people if this wasnt a kids show- gabriel at least doesnt seem like he'd actively cross that line

I’m pretty sure that entire class is gay. Mari’s definitely bi and probably poly. Her rants against Kagami are always Disaster Bi 😅 (and Adrien, Kagami, and Marinette are shown to enjoy eachothers’ company, especially when as a group. It’s the Icecream Guy who ruined it with his “fateful icecream” when Mari asks for three flavors vs two)

Bob Roth and Lila should be after Hawk Moth and Nathalie. While the latter duo's actions are deplorable, they at least do them for the people they love. Roth and Lila are purely selfish, and don't even seem to have the capacity for love. Also, Ms. Bustier should've been much higher up, possibly right after Master Fu. The episode Zombizou shows she's practically a saint.

I think Rose and Andrey should be higher. Andrey is nice enough that ,even akumatized, doesn't hurt couples and tried to comfort Marinette by giving her a free ice cream. As for Rose, she's literally one of the most pure characters ever.

Only had a few disagreements that jumped out at me. Adrien and Rose should have been higher than Marinette, Audrey should have been lower than Chloe, and Lila should have been lower than Gabriel/ Hawk Moth. Otherwise well done, good list.

Chloe has caused over half of the villains in the show get akumatized. She is entitled and manipulative (especially when it comes to Sabrina). She has no quams with hurting people to get what she wants through Sabrina. She levels up from antagonist to villain in Miracle Queen, and wants her own parents to be mad at each other again so that she can go with her mom to New York. She might have some good qualities before Miracle Queen, and Audrey might be the reason why she's like this, but Audrey still loves her husband as shown in Miracle Queen, and is over all a minor antagonist. Chloe is already a villain by her own accords.

And I don't think I can give her credit for making up with him at the end of Miracle Queen because nice moments like that are probably what allow her verbal abuse of him to continue. Mayor Bourgeois was afraid of her when Chloe threatened to call her in an early episode. I think she's pretty awful to him. Plus there's just general mistreatment of those around her to consider. Audrey generally shows less care and concern for those around her than Chloe does. You're not disagreeing with that so I presume I don't need to argue it. That's what I'm basing Audrey's rating on. If being a bigger antagonist on the show makes you more evil, does that mean you think Hawk Moth is worse than Lila too? She generally treats people worse, but he's a bigger villain on the show and has caused more akumatizations.

@@juliarivera6071 yeah but the reason Chloé is so fucked up is because her mother abandoned her when she was like 5 years old and then in the few times she did saw her didn't even care enough to remember her name.. plus at the very least Chloé has shown to have a softer side really deep down

@@tobsonasanya4765 Really? You don't think she knew the consequences of what would happen if she wanted to go off on Lila? She practically drove Lila Rossi to villainy! And even in her civilian identity, she still wants to ruin her life. And don't even get me started on Chloe!

The show reminds me a bit of Persona 5 with its literal monster of the week format, where the monsters are manifestations of negative emotions. But Miraculous is a lot more tame; a lot less sexual harassment, and most of the demons are good people twisted by bad luck or misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by Hawk Moth. The most notable exception is Lila who's almost as manipulative as Gabe. Almost; she wasn't the one who turned Adrian into an Akmumitized. Despite the cliches, I do enjoy the creative methods of defeating each monster... You know, speaking of monsters, Akumitized weak to powerful, anyone?

Mike rochip is a crook when akumatized into techno pirate, techlonizer and miraconizer.

The Timebreaker episode is a paradox, as we now know that the Kubdel stopwatch is actually the Rabbit Miraculous. A Miraculous can't be so easily destroyed as it was in that episode, thus causing a major continuity error.

As season 5 is nearly over, as is the first Arc, this list needs some adjustments made to compensate for new information revealed.

It was the manga Kagami read that helps in season 4.

For me the only star of Miraculous is Jagged Stone after Papillon and Mayura While Chloé Bourgeois is not really evil is neutral evil

To everyone saying that Lila is worse than Hawkmoth, you guys just dislike her more. Even if she is more unlikable than him most of the time, Hawkmoth is still ultimately the more evil character.

I think Marinette should be on the grey area too. I mean, the girl might not be a villain like Hawk Moth, but she's not exactly an angel either, look at how she treated Lila when she offered to be friends with Marinette. To quote the Green Goblin: "She offered her friendship, and she spat in her face."

Mei Shi is a lion protector of the prodigious when kept by Fei wu.

Season 3 had a lot of problems with their characters!

Cosmobug and astrocat are in good hands of marinette and adrian of their hero aliases.

Am I the only one who wants Lila to be first instead of hawkmoth? At least Gabriel had some care for his son, even though he was a heartless bastard in Cat Blanc. But Lila has no sympathy for others and doesn't care about anyone but herself. At least there were some moments where Gabriel cared for Adrien.

Master Fu beat out Chat Noir and Ladybug? Yeahhh no. -Feast (and not fessing up about it) -his “rules” literally make things needlessly cumbersome. -Ayla and Nino literally prove that knowing eachother’s secret identities do NOT make things worse. Actually they can coordinate better -he strung his love interest along for DECADES less so out of “responsibility” and moreso out of a fear of commitment. -he really chose teenagers? Seriously? He doesn’t even really bother training them at all either (and it’s shown that adults have better stamina as the kwamis’ hosts) -he literally cannot use his miraculous due to health reasons...but insists on doing so anyway

But Ayla's and Nino's miraculous aren't as powerfull as Cat Noir's and Ladybug's so it's not so dangerous for them to know each other identities. The black cat and ladybug miraculous combined can literally cause the end of the world..
