Bojack Horseman I think the drawing for a lot of people is the love square between Marinette, Adrian, Chat Noir, & Ladybug. The suspense of secret identies I would say is also a big draw. The whole "Will the ever find out, who will find out first, how will they react, will it change everything?" The storyline in season 1 I would say, until the last few episodes has a "broken continuity" in the sense is does not matter the order of the episodes, you could watch any of them at any time and not be confused. Not many story changing events that affect the rest of the series. I would say that Simon Says, Volpina, & The Origins kind of broke that. We get more information on Hawkmoth and the Miraculouses. For most of the season we are meeting the characters are just watching Chat Noir and Ladybug save the day... We have to understand that the show was made so little kids couod follow and understand it. Obviously the show attracted a lot of adults and young adults as well. Miraculous is considered to have a better fanbase than the actual show. That is because in season 1 the creators left the show very repetive and in some opinions not too exciting. "Woo Chat Noir and Ladybug saved the day, again. And Chloe is still the most evil person in this entire show." In season 2 (SPOILERS) they start off showing that Hawkmoth is Gabriel Agreste, and Marinette was close to finding out, and but then he akumatizes himself getting them off his trailer. We learn the Cat & ladybug miraculouses can grant 1 wish. And it alludes to Gabriel wanting to bring his wife back. As the season goes on Chloe becomes a slightly, better person, there are more love scenes with our love square, and the Kwamis now know that ladybug= Marinette and Chat Noir= Adrien and Marinette has been causing more akumtizing than Chloe. The plot progresses slowly, but that is simply how the show is supposed to work.

Too slow if you ask me... why did it need two seasons to discover the identity of Hawkmoth? This should be shown in the first few episodes. Creators are pulling us by the nose.
