Mirabai Starr - Set your intention to live a mystical life.

Please enjoy the first session from Mirabai’s new Reflections Parallel course “Becoming an Everyday Mystic.” You can join us for the rest of this wonderful course here: bit.ly/3KaKjCN
The first step in reclaiming your birthright as a mystic is to set your intention to live a mystical life, forgoing a prescribed and conventional path in favor of a leap into radical authenticity. Use every available means - from timeless contemplative methods to the wild innovations of your own soul - to open your heart to the presence of the sacred in all things. Make yourself available to the luminosity embedded in the mundane moments. Bow to your own, unfinished, gloriously imperfect life as holy ground.

A: Washing the dishes, for me. Historically, this has been a source of anxiety and shame. It has been my "impossible task" for many years as part of mental health struggles. Thank you for this beautiful reframing practice. I want to thank everyone who brought this priceless message forward. I have shared it at least 3 times, and I haven't reached the end yet. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🏻

It's hilarious ❤ I never thought of having a dishwasher because I adore the process of washing dishes ❤ I have always loved doing laundry too❤ We all have many different things that we love 😍 You have many different things that you enjoy doing. I may not even know how to do. Our diversity is a great resource and a wonderful opportunity to experience the importance of creativity and joyously living with gratitude for each other regardless of our differences between us ❤ Thanks for sharing your comment and for your individual interests and what you find gives you the most joy ❤ Learning about how to enjoy life is a great blessing that is always changing and teaching us the importance of gratitude and wonderment ❤

Thank you for this bc I can’t afford the course. Thought of you both walking last night under the pines and saw a feather. I told my dog we were everyday mystics. PS a friend told a group we could either get prahna from sex or being under pine trees 🌲😀 I choose pine trees. Here’s my list: Qi gong, yoga, walking dogs , definitely bathing, wrestling my dog, pausing before I smoke

You are very buttery and soothing to listen to. When U said there is no other place more divine than our souls for God to dwell in, that moved me soooo deeply. Now I have him cuddled up in my heart and the feeling of him being everywhere with me is much more profound

To be a speaker of truth to power. Cleaning my home and fixing it. Stayed open to my husband to bring him closer to the light before (unbeknownst to me) he committed suicide. Praying my way back from PTSD of my husbands suicide. Thank you Mirabiri you have helped me find my center again. I have been on the path of a mystic and spiritual journey. I believe my husband crossed with some healing. I can only speak from what we shared about this experience of life. I feel peace and love in his presence of spirit.

I was born a mystic. Grew up Jewish. Reclaiming my mysticism as a 33 yr old woman in New Zealand. A single mum of two divine children. I've always heard the birds talking to me, I live on the beach, and my soul is polished everytime I walk along the silkin waters. Everything is so deep and meaningful to me. I felt like I was too much feeling into this. Feeling into everything. Everyone.

This morning I literally took a moment to feel the joy and gratitude of the sip of my morning cup of tea. So much so it led me to tears of just pure enjoyment and just so much gratitude to God. Later on the same day, I watch this video 😂 check that synchronicity out 🙏🏽🙏🏽

I feel I have so many experiences and so much divine wisdom that flows forth from me and I would like to use it someway. Maybe my ego wishes I had a big title. I'm not an academic at all, but a deep feeling spiritual mystic. I hope I'm not wasting my gifts but not using them on some grand scale. But using them with everyone I come across in every day life . I guess I just answered my own question. Hehe.

I doubt this woman’s veracity very much. For someone who claims to have “studied and practiced” many spiritual traditions, she got very much wrong about the Bhagvad Gita. 1) Krishna is not “God of Love”. That would be Kama. 2) The conversation happens on the day of, not day before the war. 3) the Gita is given on the battlefield, right between the two armies, not on some far of valley. This bullshit new agey nonsense tends to do this often: claim broad study, but evidence just a passing flirtation.
