It’s pretty hard to describe anything from Burning Man without using phrases, sounding pathetic or cheesy.
So maybe I shouldn’t try. Or I just don’t care about it?
Pablo asked for a little intro about my set in the tie-up night with Robot Heart when I played the Mayan Warrior art car, so here we go:
Every night, when the Mayan Warrior art car leaves its camp on it’s way to the deep playa it feels pretty sublime, like a wake up call for the rave kids with this drum beats, like a ritual where they follow it’s spiritual leader, the warrior dancer follow their flagship art car, it’s getting more and more crowded, surrounded by hundreds of bikes and of course I’m super nervous entering this elevated Dj booth, shaking from the bass or is it just me? And from one moment to another I am in the middle of lasers and fire, I am taking over the booth and after a second I’ve forgotten every fear and just start playing...

Was depressed off me head and so done with all this bullshit being done to us in the world right now. This randomly came on my playlist and it just gave me that minute of peace and serenity from all the noise. Thanks guys, absolutely amazing set

You know what? I know your comment is eight months old but this just found me too. I have a record and can't find a job... depressed. I stumbled on this and it blew me away. I have a small travel trailer in storage and I want to go to Burning Man in 2024 when all my shit is over. This brought me to life. Damn.

I have to say the music is kinda dope smooth as glass with the ripples in the right place.
I remember being on the playa and following the Mayan Warrior as it met up with Robot Heart. My and my buddies are right there in this crowd, not far from the artcar. Magnificent and breath taking with lucy.

In my mind and ears Mayan warrior and Burning man reveal to us the most hypnotic, esoterical artists, uplifting, dreamy....through you i have discovered the talents of Jennifer cardini, Monolink, Kora, Santa Vie, Jan Blomqvist, etc, etc and i have you to thank you for it.....may your productions live and burn with passion forever. I believe you contract some of the best dj s to live.....its really awesome stuff and i will forever love you for it.
