Truth and beauty and grace were her middle names. We are so blessed we had her. She will be missed hugely.

I love to hear her talk. She's so incredibly intelligent. I saw her get a little emotional twice and I wish that hadn't been cut short. The emotion is what makes her so 'real' as a person.

Yes she was very intelligent,the reason she soffer so mutch,she ess also so beautiful

Geez, is how old or young she is really the most important here? Or what is it in her that enabled her to resist the madness plaguing human existence, not only in Croatia, Bosnia and former Yugoslavia, but our entire world and history: people turning against each other, drawn into a vicious circle of madness, hate and killing. If more people, like her, were willing to say "no" to it, the madness wouldn't be taking over, again and again. What is it that makes Mira different? What is it that makes Miep Gies (the women that was risking her life helping Anne Frank survive in hiding from Nazis) say: "I did not have a choice." If we'd understand that, maybe we'd have a future.
