Thank you guys for all the support! This is the first new cover I've actually done in awhile, instead of relying on my unfinished projects. I've been really unmotivated between life changes and youtube becoming less and less of a reliable income, so I promised myself to do more of what I like and hopefully have more fun here again! That includes also will be doing a big redesign that I hope everyone will look forward to! 🙇

juby is probably the channel that I’ve watched for the longest in my life. I’ve watched her for around 5 years and no song has disappointed. I still cant figure out how she is so amazing at singing though.

My story idea based on the lyrics: A woman in a loveless relationship with a man is all for show, as well as the child they have, their life is slowly becoming harder to put on airs as they grow older. She wonders when someone will come and save her from it, since she yearns for something more but she is locked down by the reality. She decides to break her family apart by confronting him about their fake love (deep breath...the laughable scam..an unappealing love) and decides to tell him that the child isn't his. (The blood we bare) = the child. Threatening him to stay with her in this torturous love now that he's realized he wants to leave but she threatens to tell everyone that the child isn't his and expose him. So they continue the farce together till their ends.

The idea behind me thinking this ideology is BECAUSE of how religion's (especially christianity) put a lot of emphasis about getting married and having children and never divorcing. This idea that she was coerced into marrying a man who doesn't love her and doesn't care about her. She now becomes committed to the farce despite trying to escape while younger and failing (child in the process) as her faith begins again she now sees that her husband wants to leave since he knows the truth about their kid. She uses the same pressures that forced her to marry him to keep him tied to her (religion's immense ideological view on what marriage consists of). He used it to get her to marry him and stay loveless - she now uses it to keep him in the loveless marriage (aka everything hidden beneath the veil of a perfect marriage - their cover over their own wrong doings) She now cannot risk losing this marriage to him or else everyone will see everything SHE did wrong, she is using him now. He needed to marry her to look like a good Christian man despite not loving her. Social pressure put upon by him forcing her hand into a loveless marriage. She sees that if she leaves this marriage or he leaves her later on, she will be the one shunned for being a divorced woman. She makes a child (hoping to love the man who gave her the kid, but thinks after him, that such a love does not exist for her and that she needs to maintain what she has). She realizes her husband wants to leave since he has a great reputation and has someone he wants to love, but leaving her means she, as the woman, will face more shunning and scathing gazes than her husband for being a divorced woman. She uses the child as leverage, blackmail to keep him in the marriage so she can maintain her lifestyle and make him feel the same hopelessness she felt when she was forced into a marriage by faith.
