Artemis One has lifted off. And I watched that candle lit live, and saw her climb and blaze a fire in the sky.

Here's hoping artemis is successful in eventually establishing an orbit round the moon
Hearing songs like this and Fly Columbia, which reference the stellar chariot that failed its seven riders as it fell towards home, but before the event ever occurred, is always so bizarre to me

The song was updated after Challenger, adding a new verse before the last one: Yet the gods to not give lightly of the powers the have made, And with Challenger and seven, once again the price is paid. Though a nation watched her falling, yet a world could only cry As they passed from us to glory, riding fire in the sky.

listening to this stuff in the current world feels somehow weird, it seems impossible there was a time when humanity had this kind of sentiments toward itself and the future, how fast things change

Really? The last decade has had so many new firsts in spaceflight, and the US at least plans to put more astronauts on the moon within the decade.

@@jamesharding3459 The US has planed to put more astronauts on the moon within the decade for the last 50 years. What's changed is that this time they've got a half way decent chance of succeeding.

To be sure, this isn't really an "original". It's just another cover by another singer of Jordin's song. There really isn't an "original" recording that was released.
hopefully artemis will become what columbia was meant to be
We are blood of those who singing rose from the body of the Ship of Stone.
First was this then klover then Tyler, next stanza is glory in the stars.
Could you do a slower version of this it would be so good
