It's hard to say with the augmented tadpole (perhaps even astral tadpole). Besides, there are lots of ways to extend life or even reincarnate in the Realms, especially for high-level casters. And if Minthara succeeds in taking over House Baenre, they won't lack for resources and magical secrets. On the other hand, Drow have a much shorter life expectancy than other Elves, due to societal norms - and Minthara in particular has made herself the target of the entirety of Menzoberranzan and Ched Nasad, not to mention the illithid colonies of the Northdark who may very likely view the augmented tadpoles as abominations (and may be allied with House Baenre and/or Bregan D'aerthe to some extent anyway).

It is a rare mind flayer to be totally disconnected from an Elder Brain Given it's mostly a social stigma among illithids, there's nothing preventing a flayer Tav/Durge from going Illithilich, especially if "canon" durge is already an arcane spellcaster. And Minthara would still be into it.
