    Backed this three days ago and it's already reached another three stretch goals. Growing like mad, and I cannot wait to get a copy. Every update is just making this game so much better.

    Rahdo, Your videos have spurred my thirst for boardgames after it was damaged years ago by bad experiences. I thank you for doing these videos and re-igniting the passion I felt for these types of activities. Your bright, honest, and pleasant demeanor means much to the viewer, which is why I watch your channel over all the other channels on boardgames. Having a lady like Jen doesn't hurt either ;) I was wondering if you might take a look at [Fallen Land] and possibly do a video on it. It may or may not be the kind of game you both like; but your commentary is so well decided that I, for one, would love to see what you have to say. Thanks for your time, Camuss

    No worries! I'd hate to put Jen or you in a position I understand all too well. I'm also looking into Henchmania, but I feel like you'd do that one without the suggestion. I appreciate your work, so Keep it up!!! I'll stay tuned

    Did you consider making the last manufacturer cost 3 mints? Making the decision what to do first slightly tougher. :) or you could also do the same for the plan dealership.. the last place being the cost of the building +1 just a thought

    iirc, you pay 3 mints, and then randomly draw and claim the top card from the plan pile :)

  • @ninohernandez

    You shouldn't play this with real mints, because by the end of the game you'll have run out of workers. :D

    Does ist really matter who is using the Wholesaler? You get the benefit either way.

  • @rahdo

    if it's my wholesaler, and i use it, i'll net 2 workers, and you get nothing. if you use it, i'll net 1 worker and you net 2. so that's a pretty big difference :)

    If both players want to produce mints either way, it does not matter who is using the wholesaler and who is using the normal produce mints-space. Therefore Jen does not need to pick the first player maker at 12:49 to be able to use the wholesaler before you in the next turn. That is what i meant. I hope this does not come cross as nit-picking, it is just something i noticed :)

  • @rahdo

    @rahdo

    right, but there's a finite number of places that can produce mints, and considering the fact that wholesaler is *significantly* more powerful for it's owner, it's still worth trying to ensure they don't get maximum benefit out of it. and since becoming first player is effectively a free action, all the more reason to consider doing it

  • @ubergigglefritz

    There are a finite number of spaces to produce mints, but there are also other things you may want to do before producing mints. I'd be more likely to want first player to get first dibs on the plans if something comes up I really want, but everyone strategizes differently ;-) And I haven't played the game yet, ha. I think the point is (and the point I came on here to make) is that for Jen, if all the spaces are open for producing mints, it's better for her not to use the wholesaler. I could see it being possible that all the produce spaces don't get used in a round as people are racing to get other stuff and then run out of mints, and if that's the case, Jen would prefer that space remaining to be the wholesaler space so you don't get a bonus mint. It's like any worker placement game, there may be a space that gives you free mints, but you taking that space comes at the cost of potentially losing out on another opportunity. That's the decision. But either way, if I didn't own the wholesaler, I'd never do you the favor of filling that up. I'd only use it if it were the only produce space left and I wanted more mints.

    Do you think that the first player on the start of the game has an unfair advantage over the 2nd, 3rd and 4th players? :/

  • @rahdo

    @rahdo

    nope, everybody gets an equal opportunity, since the game doesn't stop till the end of round that endgame is triggered

    At the 11 minute mark, you should have paid 2 as it is always 2 to build, not how many mints the plan cost.
