Hate to admit so but . . . yeah.

Amazing, it gives the impression that the beaters are falling by gravity onto the marimba rather than being 'struck'! Love the colour contrast of the other instruments too!

We did this in college, and I was honored to play the lower percussion part (right side of screen for viewers). The lady who played the lead marimba part had placed high (won? Don’t recall) the DCI solo and ensemble competition. You all seemed to be having a blast with this, and everyone nailed it! I could see the story being told!

This is my favorite interpretation of Marimba Spiritual on KZread, I prefer this to the Ju Percussion one. Fantastic.

My buddy Drew won I&E 93 with this piece. Then he played in Star of Indiana Brass theater 1995. Check it out. He did a pretty amazing job!
