Minor Language TV Channels in the U.S.
Wasn't expecting this to be almost 20 minutes long. This video shows a long compilation of station IDs and news intros of American TV channels that are in languages that are not English or Spanish. Most of these are local channels in low power TV stations or cable, making them low in budget, having similar energy to public access TV.
To note, there aren't any American TV channels in a Native American language, as FNX and NATV are English. However, there is a Lakotah dub for the Berenstain Bears.
I own nothing. All the content shown belongs to their respective owners. Only for educational, entertainment, and historical purposes. No monetization is made off this video or channel. If you wish to have your branding taken off this video, please contact me to do so.

5:10 An authentic local Korean-speaking TV channel ID from one of the largest USA-based TV channels 6:22 The local Greek-speaking TV channel from Oldsmar was the only one that used Windows XP to broadcast via Windows Media Player (and that they were also now using VLC) 6:24 And this ident featured an iMovie song, Breakbeat 8:20 A very late-90s ID with a KZread Kids-styled music from the early-2010s 13:59 The Persian-speaking cable TV channel was the only one that showed a commercial to promote a live concert ad (and it was like 15 seconds showing Universal Studios Hollywood in California, LOL) 15:28 And an also very 90s ID and anime theme song from the mid-2000s

So Louisiana Speaks French With Everything On Other Media Or Whatever 5:44
14:43 This channel also speaks Cantonese.
There's also Albanian TV of America, an Albanian-language network in the USA which serves Albanians in Michigan on Channel 90 (via Comcast, 8PM to 10PM), and Worldwide via Tibo on Channel 265 and TVALB/NimiTV on Channel 36.
I like how the Polvision Monitor intro re-uses the old SABC News intro template but with a different color scheme.
2013 Polvision has this Brazilian local station vibe I can't even explain- 6:22 xd
I watched it all and now I want a part 2 of this video.
2:33 We Have Japanese Television in USA Forever 16:29 And NatTV Too But Thai Television
It's fortunate that some of them even make it to cable
WMBC also had programming from India and Europe in the 90s. Before it was carried on cable I was able to get it from a weak antenna signal. WNYC in New York also showed European, Caribbean and Asian programming on nights and weekends (now defunct)
The Portuguese channel clip at 8:21 are using the same exact graphics as the public access station on quincy ma was using in 1999
14:33 I remember the logo of NTDTV when my foster watched the news. NTDTV is an American TV channel for all Chinese overseas, which is affiliated with Falun Gong.
This video is very interesting. I like it, because I Get to see channels in the us in diffrent languages that I didn't even know about. Good video 👍.
12:30 : Gotta hide that from NBC.
Oh man the memories with the Southern California Vietnamese stations.
Kinda funny to see a Portuguese channel in the us, considering not many people speak it there (especially not the European version)

Interesting i am from europe and i like to learn a lot of languages as a hobby. but i only started doing this in the 2010s because back before the modern internet learning languages was a lot harder. to learn a language you have to use it not just study all day. in my country most people learn English by watch tv because there is not enough good local media for most people. but other languages are a lot rarer on tv. but with the rise of the internet i noticed i could find a lot of fun media in Spanish or Russian or Japanese and more but that stuff simply wasn't on tv in the 90s in my region. it was mostly American or from other English speaking countries like the uk or Australia and from France and Germany because they are our Neighbours. America is even more monolingual but surprisingly these channels did exist. i think it was easier to start your own tv channel in the us than in europe. but i noticed most of these intros are from the 2000s or even current times. i know you normally focus on 80s and 90s stuff so i assume channels like these only became more common recently even if a few existed in the 80s.

The internet certainly helped. Growing up in the 80's myself, we had none of this in America and had to seek it out anyway possible.
7:16 : the animation is almost identical to NTV Uganda's news program Akawungeezi and Ku Ssawa Emu (Friday edition of the same program) since the mid-2010's, only with different music.
