@@trentmckenzie343 His joke was awful but I do actually find that on six strings my G is the one that breaks. I think I've only ever snapped the high E one time.

Backing tracks-especially lengthy ones- really test how well you can play and what techniques you have mastered.

I love to jam to this. I even like playing it in the background. It's very peaceful ambient music.

The nice part is; everybody can jam along in their own way and every single one of the jam sessions is something you can be proud of, no matter if you’re a beginner or professional player. That’s beautiful about the blues, nothing is the same but it all sounds awesome regardless of how long you’ve been playing. Nice track btw!

There are many factors in jam backing tracks. One plan I found which successfully combines these is the Makale jam plan (check it out on google) definately the most incredible info that I have ever seen. Check out this unbelievable resource.

+Joe King I bet you are coming along fine. I consider it a significant advantage to be a bit overly critical of one's own progress, because it shows that one is determined to improve. But don't make it too critical, or you'll never achieve happiness as a musician. If you were too self-critical of whatever you might have to say, you'd never utter a word. It's one thing to work earnestly to improve speed, technique, etc., but you might look at how in a performance, you're really only trying to communicate with the listeners, and you will find ways to say things to them. Not all of those things call for mad skills. They're only expressions, and are centered around communication. You are bringing a piece of your soul to the heart of a listener's emotional awareness. The only difference between soloing and singing is that your vocal cords now come in a package of six.....

its been three long months of one hour a day. Its really paying off. I am trying to impress my wife at a party soon with a live band and this is super great man. Its so sad I let my chops go and dove into rock for 20 years. I put the mesa in storage and for three solid months Ive been practicing through my dusty 1965 blackface twin, and my 62 strat. Thanks man. I wish they would of had this in the 80;s!

i cant wait until i can play like you did at the beginning, I can play around with b minor and pentatonic but no matter how i play i always feel like im just playing a scale, havent really figured out how to turn it into music yet
