Do you know that God has created a way for you to receive mercy and experience freedom in Jesus? And its love for you - so that you have eternal life and forgiveness in Jesus! God, to fellowship with you, gave His Son as an atoning sacrifice. Jesus has paid for you to save you from eternal condemnation because of sin. But this only applies for those who are willing to repent and accept the Lord Jesus in their lives! Repent I beg you, and desire Christ above all else! Love him and follow him to the end, not you you will regret it Would you totally give your life to Jesus Christ and accept him as your personal Lord and Savior?

A had a beautiful black cat girl back in the day, I always gave her all the food she wanted, but she almost everyday at the evening was going out to a field behind our house for hunting. That was just her routine, she wasn't ever hungry, it was just the instinct. I think cats just have fun that way, even they don't have to do it to survive, as hunting is also a form of entertainment. Also when you have multiple cats, especially young, they will play hunting for each other.

What a good girl! Trying to keep her home free of mice. My Jasmine is a more reliable murderer. She only brings us dead mice. Here's something interesting, in Japan's past silk farmers kept cats to keep vermin away from silk and the plants the worms fed on. Some cats were such good mousers that they were worth five times of what a horse cost. I don't think Minnie is that category.

This adds to my appreciation for the NHK series, A Cat's-Eye View of Japan. Though I'm not sure this topic has been covered, some cats seen on such farms really do have that kind of presence. By which I mean - something about them just exudes, "I cost more than a horse" & it's done without the presumed "cattitude."

This implies she killed the mouse, but she didn't. She caught it and then proceeded to drop it multiple times. The video ended with the mouse being alive. You don't normally dispose of things that are still alive. Also, realistically, cats don't give a shit if you praise them. Cats are only sort of domesticated. It's the same reason you can only sort of train them.

I'm always worried about the mice previously eating poison or having diseases, but I'm also a coward. My partner has gotten one of our cats to drop the mouse and then grab it with a plastic bag for release several blocks away. Then praise, treats and toys for the cat. Mouse will probably die from shock, but at least cat isn't throwing up or needing a vet visit. And the second cat is a coward who just makes concerned noises about the whole ordeal.

You're right, it's not a good idea to let your pets eat random rodents - if they are sick, or recently ingested poison, your beloved animal could be in big trouble. Separating the pet from the mouse, and making sure they are kept in separate rooms so it can't be caught again, is the first priority. Then find a boot, knee length is best, and lay it on its side close to where you last saw the mouse. The mouse is looking for a dark, safe place to hide, and will usually run into the boot given enough time. Then it's easy to take it outside and free it - a good distance away from the house, obviously!

Female cats are much more likely to bring live prey home, because they do so for their kittens to "play" with (i.e. to teach them how to hunt). Of my cats, two were real hunters - althogh he's a bit too old now, my male cat used to bring all sort sof stuff home (usually dead). Birds, mice, slow-worms (he mostly didn;t kill those, just trotted along the garden path with them in his mouth). I also found a HUGE dead rat under the kitchen table. To top that, long ago one of my cats caught and killed a stoat! I also have to identical twin female cats. They'r emostly too lazy to hunt much, but three times they have caught and eaten pidgeons. Last time I foudn the remains, which was one wing and a foot...

Such a good hunter. :) Our Pinki even catched birds from time to time, she was a real outside cat (during the day), since we had a big and open property until 1998 with 2 horses running around and a lot of open space, fields etc. - she LOVED it. Perfect for a cat to play, hunt and discover. In the evening she always came home to her family (us) and cuddled, got her dinner and something to drink, slept in the house and during the morning she went outside again - sometimes she was away for 2-3 days. Our male cat was the boss in the house, she was the boss on the outside. When my parents built a new house in 1998 (I was 7 years old back then), we moved a bit closer to the city and got a much smaller property (still around 900m², but not even 1/6 of what we got before). In the beginning that area was pretty open and free as well and there were not many newly built houses, so she could continue discovering and hunting - but within the next years more and more houses got built and she got older, so Pinki got more relaxed. She then stayed most of the time in our garden or the house. Pinki got 20 years old and liked mice a lot on her diet. :D
