Do you know that God has created a way for you to receive mercy and experience freedom in Jesus? And its love for you - so that you have eternal life and forgiveness in Jesus! God, to fellowship with you, gave His Son as an atoning sacrifice. Jesus has paid for you to save you from eternal condemnation because of sin. But this only applies for those who are willing to repent and accept the Lord Jesus in their lives! Repent I beg you, and desire Christ above all else! Love him and follow him to the end, not you you will regret it Would you totally give your life to Jesus Christ and accept him as your personal Lord and Savior?

A had a beautiful black cat girl back in the day, I always gave her all the food she wanted, but she almost everyday at the evening was going out to a field behind our house for hunting. That was just her routine, she wasn't ever hungry, it was just the instinct. I think cats just have fun that way, even they don't have to do it to survive, as hunting is also a form of entertainment. What a good girl! Trying to keep her home free of mice. My Jasmine is a more reliable murderer. She only brings us dead mice. Here's something interesting, in Japan's past silk farmers kept cats to keep vermin away from silk and the plants the worms fed on. Some cats were such good mousers that they were worth five times of what a horse cost. I don't think Minnie is that category.

@robina.9402 Жыл бұрын
I'm always worried about the mice previously eating poison or having diseases, but I'm also a coward. My partner has gotten one of our cats to drop the mouse and then grab it with a plastic bag for release several blocks away. Then praise, treats and toys for the cat. Mouse will probably die from shock, but at least cat isn't throwing up or needing a vet visit. And the second cat is a coward who just makes concerned noises about the whole ordeal.
@glamdolly30

You're right, it's not a good idea to let your pets eat random rodents - if they are sick, or recently ingested poison, your beloved animal could be in big trouble. Separating the pet from the mouse, and making sure they are kept in separate rooms so it can't be caught again, is the first priority. Then find a boot, knee length is best, and lay it on its side close to where you last saw the mouse. The mouse is looking for a dark, safe place to hide, and will usually run into the boot given enough time. Then it's easy to take it outside and free it - a good distance away from the house, obviously!

Female cats are much more likely to bring live prey home, because they do so for their kittens to "play" with (i.e. to teach them how to hunt). Of my cats, two were real hunters - althogh he's a bit too old now, my male cat used to bring all sort sof stuff home (usually dead). Birds, mice, slow-worms (he mostly didn;t kill those, just trotted along the garden path with them in his mouth). I also found a HUGE dead rat under the kitchen table. To top that, long ago one of my cats caught and killed a stoat! I also have to identical twin female cats. They'r emostly too lazy to hunt much, but three times they have caught and eaten pidgeons. Last time I foudn the remains, which was one wing and a foot...

Such a good hunter. :) Our Pinki even catched birds from time to time, she was a real outside cat (during the day), since we had a big and open property until 1998 with 2 horses running around and a lot of open space, fields etc. - she LOVED it. Perfect for a cat to play, hunt and discover. In the evening she always came home to her family (us) and cuddled, got her dinner and something to drink, slept in the house and during the morning she went outside again - sometimes she was away for 2-3 days. Our male cat was the boss in the house, she was the boss on the outside. When my parents built a new house in 1998 (I was 7 years old back then), we moved a bit closer to the city and got a much smaller property (still around 900m², but not even 1/6 of what we got before). In the beginning that area was pretty open and free as well and there were not many newly built houses, so she could continue discovering and hunting - but within the next years more and more houses got built and she got older, so Pinki got more relaxed. She then stayed most of the time in our garden or the house. Pinki got 20 years old and liked mice a lot on her diet. :D

My cats are indoor cats 24/7. Never been outdoors ever. Please tell my cats what this "play mode" is that you speak of. 3 lines of thinking: First: She didn´t loose the mouse, she lets her loose, to teach the mouse who´s the boss. Second: She isn´t hungry at the moment, so she keeps the mouse for rainy days alive and fresh. Third: She scares her "canopener", so that the "canopener" keeps opening cans for her.

I really love watching stories about your kitty! Thank you!
At least she didn't kill it and leave it in your bed to show you how much she loves you!
My cat doesn't play around. He just kills the mice with a bite to the neck and eats it. Only the guts are left on my carpet. 😂
Enjoyed your terrified scream. 😂😂
my cats also love to catch mice but they never finish the job my dog has to arrive and give the mouse or rat the coup de grace
Minnie is teaching her humans to hunt. But the humans aren't interested. Been there, with mice, birds and lizards. I helped them with the hunting holding a bucket and a broom.
She knows what's she's doing dad, torturing dad & mom and playing hide go seek with mouse. That's the killer murderer in her.

Minnie: catched a mouse as toy Hoomen: PANIC!

Yeah, cats "play" with their captured prey because they want to exhaust it before delivering the killing blow, otherwise they risk getting bitten or scratched in the face in retaliation.
Oh wow! Good girl Minnie! That's impressive I wish my cats caught mice 😅
She’s doing what cats do best 🥰🥰🤣🤣
Minnie very good hunting skills, dad....🤣
She had only one job!!!
Think this is bad? Wait till you hear the crunching noises as they eat it then come back to you for kisses.
Not Minnie's fault that there's a mouse in your home, besides she did catch it twice but the humans can't seem to stomach it!

She probably caught the mouse outside - people's back yards/gardens and teeming with mice and shrews!
She was trying to get you guys dinner! 😂
She didn’t lose it😂 she let it go. My cat does it too when it catches prey (usually bugs) they really like playing with their food.
Good kitty!!
Owner: "Minnie! Just kill it!" Minnie: "No. No, I don't think I will."
Man card revoked for being afraid of a mouse.
This is what you get when you allow cats outside. You destroy the ecosystem, and you get a dead mouse in your bed at some point.
It's a mouse. Pick it up and put it outside.
Aww she’s so proud of herself 🥰
No om-nom-nom-noms? The cat over here just eats them whole. Nuitrition!
Legend has it this family still has not slept due to the mouse loose in the house!
Oh sweet baby Minnie!! Oh I love you so much!! Meow meow
Well, look what the Lombax dragged in!
Minnie: Mom, Dad! Look what I just caught!
Minnie: Everyday you lived ignorant of mice was gift from me.
Just being a cat doin' cat stuff
Omg!!! That is the best one of Minnie so far!!!
Stuart Little escapes!
Hoooman. this is for you.
Cats don't become mousers just because they can catch mice. They have to either be born into a mouser or become very hungry.
I love that cat i could hug her for hours
Real house cats are perpetual kittens and are always in play mode which means that they do not kill for food. Feral cats on the other hand are already used to surviving on their own and will kill anything that they catch.

My cats are indoor cats 24/7. Never been outdoors ever. Please tell my cats what this "play mode" is that you speak of. For them play mode must mean "Let's leave a half-eaten mouse near Dad's chair so he can enjoy it with his morning coffee." This is how I learned that cats love to bring you trophies. Kinda gruesome but I love my cats.

Good girl minnie
She's gotta learn that putting it down lets it get away!
What a smasher!
Get it Minnie!
What a goog girl! Doing her cat job well!
Good cat
Well, you know where you find one mouse, you will most likely find more!!
She didn't want to kill 🥰 cute cat
