How good is Indiana state? I think they could win it all if only they had a chance had a bad game came back down 18 to drake ran outta gas

ISU can really pass the rock. Impressive.

I live in Terre Haute and have been to several games this year. Schertz is an awesome coach. Great recruiter, Xs and Os and just overall has a great relationship with his players. If a player makes a mistake, he doesn’t yell and berate them. Instead he takes it as an opportunity to teach. Any player 1 thru 6 is capable of being the high point man any night. During the course of the season, I’ve had several different favorite players. That’s when you know you are watching a great TEAM. It’s been great for the university and the city of Terre Haute. I was 8 years old, the last time ISU and Terre Haute had this much excitement. Of course that was in the Larry Bird days. Unfortunately we’re probably going to lose Schertz to another college because ISU will probably not pay him what other schools will offer him. He started off this year making $300,000 but they raised it to $365,000 during the season. It is rumored that just recently they have offered him $850,000. Just rumor at this point. I think that’s still not going to be enough to keep him here. Another thing that really stinks is it is rumored, if he leaves, he’ll be taking at least 3 players with him (Kent, Avila and Conwell) plus at least 2 of 3 of next year’s recruiting class which are all tall lengthy big men, that would help to spell the starting 5. They’ve sold out several games this year and the downtown merchants and restaurants have definitely benefited from all the excitement and hoopla. Hopefully between ISU, alumni donations and chamber of commerce we can find a way of retaining Sherrz for a few more years. I think just maybe next year would be our chance to run deep into the NCAA final four (Elite 8 or maybe a final four appearance). They really have that much potential. Come on ISU and Terre Haute pay up or shut up.

Shame that Indiana was not selected for the FF when some of the TEAMS they let in were hot garbage >>> my sister is literally a better shooter than the whole JM team put together... we saw 40m point blow outs thru out the 2nd rnd...
