The way Jose Miranda is hitting this year reminds me of a right-handed Mauer. Not a ton of power but can hit any pitch to all parts of the field

I’m sure this won’t be popular with Phil and others but if things continue the 3 playoff starters should be Ryan-Ober-Woods Richardson.

Judd is exactly right about Miranda, he shouldn't have been written off. I pounded the table about him in Spring Training when everyone else wrote him off because 2021 and 2022 he had fantastic, consistent seasons between minors and majors, and if he were healthy there was no reason to write him off in March. I'm glad the Twins tuned out all the media noise and gave Miranda a chance, because now it's paying dividends.

My biggest issue with Miranda has always been his fielding. I hate watching him in the field and can’t be trusted out there in a big game. We have much better option at 3rd and he shouldn’t play 1st at all. If he hits this well I am fine playing him at DH but that limits his upside.

Hey Declan, I’ve been telling you for 2 months that you’ve been totally ignoring Miranda and giving him no respect. NOW will you finally give him the respect? Best clutch hitter on the team, best batting average, etc. just blah, blah, blah, Lopez, blah, blah Ryan, blah, blah, blah Buxton etc. Judd is the only one who has shown Miranda any love this year.

Yes! I’ve been on Miranda since 2022 and knew he’d come back strong after last year’s injury. LFG!!

I can remember Judd saying he wasn’t going to amount to anything in the first half of the 2022 season and then he ate his words as the season progressed same last year not accounting for Miranda’s shoulder injury. None of these guys can judge talent if they don not come out of the gate like a Aron Judge or Royce Lewis they don’t have a clue.

Should we read anything into the fact that Lopez's jerseys are completely soaked with sweat by the second inning of his last few starts or is it simply a matter of high humidity? It does not seem like the other players are sweating nearly as much as Pablo. Is this just a "Nothing Burger?"

We still need a real baseball management group. Manager, hitting coach, pitching coach. Trade Lewis because of injury prone problems and get a good starter for him pitching is needed.

After slashing payroll it's unlikely the Pohlads will be significant buyers Plus with Lewis being a constant DLer this team isn't much of a threat in the playoffs. I predicted Lewis would be injured again and sadly it's always going to be the case.

Imo Joe Ryan the biggest snub . I get Jax but reality is he hasn't thrown the same amount of innings as other allstar relievers . My biggest issue is Cleveland has like 7 Allstars even the damn royals got multiple guys it's just weird how certain teams have 5+ Allstars should never have more then 3 no matter how good of a team you have especially when you snub better guys

@dajuice7030 true. Switch kep/sanatana then. I'm not sure what the R/L splits with Correa and Buck are, but I doubt it matters with Miranda. He hits anything. With Lewis, I'd def want a couple "table setters" batting infront of him. He'd be a 100+ rbi guy if healthy

I will agree with you on the big game pitcher. But this team is big in big moments. I know they don’t have the best winning percentage against teams with winning records but this team I think has more of a can be really good when it’s needed mentality. Those old twins always crumbled against top competition I think this team has more than that, yeah they do need an ace

The '87 twins had viola and blyleven, the '91 had Erickson and Morris. You have to have pitchers who want the ball in those moments, the current staff doesn't have that.

Judd was not wrong about Balldummy. They team is winning in spite of him, not because of him.
