I’m not as psyched about the players as I am about the GM Connelly. This guy doesn’t follow the narratives that people try to force on you to build a team. For any who have a curiosity of wondering if a great GM matters. Mn. Vikings Jim Finks built one of the greatest teams here we ever saw then went to Chicago and the result was 85’ Bears then went to New Orleans and turned that despot franchise around. Let’s not make the mistake of letting that happen here. Keep Connelly around for years and years to come. Whoever’s idea it was to steal Connelly away like a pirate in the night thank you and ARGHHH 😉.

I am going to vent and I am sorry but this is my opinion. They said that Taylor is okaying us now going to luxury tax. Of course he is because he is trying to win over opinions. But where was he all these decades? The Wolves have been punished from his decisions and his friends. I do not know if the other side is better but look they came in and said okay let get one of the best GMs in the league. And look what Connelly is doing. The fact that he might leave because of this situation angers me. Plus according to rumours Taylor was saying not to go after him because there was no chance in getting him. Lastly Taylor is saying he is doing all this because he loves the team. He has shipwrecked this organisation. That is not love. The only thing I give him credit is that he does not want the team to leave Minny

Wendell and Minott are in trouble. Clark better get damn good quick as well. Fact is we have in house competition for spots. Barring injuries the young guards are fighting for mpg. Miller and Garza will be competing for a roster spot. Conley in 2yrs is done. Whomever emerges from Clark, Dilly will be the starter. Wendell better be working as his only shot is when NAWs contract is up in a few years.

Congrads to the GM of the Timberwolves! I hope the thin size of Dillingham will be ok, he’ll have to play fast and fearless. Put him on Big Macs for the summer. What a surprise to go from 27 to pick 8 in the draft. If Dilly is the outward gambling type of player who shares the ball and good with the pass he will help other players have success.

I’m not hating, I think Minnesota made a great move here, but we’re looking at the most expensive team in nba history. When they become repeat offenders, and they will, this team will be so unaffordable it’s not even funny. Then the new apron rules. They can only trade down. When Conley and Gobert age out, which is coming soon, they will not be allowed to pick up new players that are even close to those guys. Gobert specifically, nobody is going to pay $50 million for Gobert, so Minnesota will be stuck keeping all their players, regardless of age. I got to hand it to the owners, they are totally all in. This is the biggest all in in basketball history and will end up dwarfing the Golden state warriors, when they start hitting repeater penalties. Basically, the next two years are the window and then they are cooked. They maybe have a 3rd year, but that would require a 35 year old Gobert to still be amazing, a 32/33 year old KAT to be healthy and hooping, a 39/40 year old Mike Conley? Future picks are all dead last and most non existent. AND NAZ REID IS ABOUT READY TO GET A BAG! This is the most reckless build I’ve ever seen but holy shit, it’s produced an amazing team.
