Minneapolis Fed president Neel Kashkari says signs "high-pressure" economy may be "cooling"

Neel Kashkari, the Minneapolis Federal Reserve president, tells "Face the Nation" that "it's certainly possible" unemployment will continue to tick up and there will be some economic "cooling" over the next few weeks. "We are looking at what I call a high-pressure economy in some dimensions, but there's also some evidence that it's cooling," he said.

Our economy is struggling with uncertainties, housing issues, foreclosures, global fluctuations, and the pandemic aftermath, causing instability. Rising inflation, sluggish growth, and trade disruptions need urgent attention from all sectors to restore stability and stimulate growth.

With the US dollar losing value to inflation and other currencies gaining traction, uncertainty looms. Yet, many still trust in the dollar's perceived safety. Worried about my $420,000 retirement savings losing value, I seek alternative security for my money.

And the prime minister of canada finallh admits inflation is caused by too much government spending. Thats the real solution , not increasing rates

Yup, they were open about it. They wanted the labor market to be tight. In other words, destroy the negotiating power of workers. This wouldn’t even be necessary to be this tight either if we didn’t deficit spend out of control and monetize the debt.

What Neel isn’t mentioning is the immigration effect on healthcare especially since tax payers are bearing the brunt of the cost. Not only just food but rent is soaring. The home inventory is low and projected to be low for the next 10 plus years. To include not being affordable for middle and lower incomes. They’re stuck with high rent and not able to save to buy a home. Having the new labor is great for the higher income earners but it’s just doubling down on middle and lower income citizens to own a home! Bidenomics, working for the upper 1/3 and flipping off the middle class and lower income families.

Monetary inflation and deficit spending benefits anyone rich and is actively destroying the middle class, it’s a tax that is only taken from people that don’t hold assets. It would be really simple to fix what we’re doing here. Make monetization of the debt illegal, and only pay for things with taxes. They’ll never do it though, your life is going to continue to get hard.
