Don't invite someone and than put him down for his background. He is there for his achievement. And yes Harvard business school did invite him to learn his insights, of how the railways progressed. He did an amazing job with the failing railways. Respect a person for his works. Language is nothing but a mode of communication. He did convey a message and he sure did put the smarties in their place.
