Thanks, you can check whether you qualify to apply through PEI provincial nominee program or explore the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program. I wouldn’t say it’s easier to get PR in PEI compared to other provinces, as most pathways require you to have a job offer. However, Business Impact Category under the PEI PNP doesn’t require a job offer but you need to show certain net worth and how you contribute to improve PEI businesses.

Thanks, here you have to pay out of pocket for prescription medications unless you have extended benefits through your employer. If you are a resident of Canada (temporary or permanent) you can only bring medications enough for three months.

Nangi, it is challenging to find a job anywhere in Canada while you are in Sri Lanka. But it’s doable if you have the right experience. I did a video on some tips to find a job in Canada while you are still in Sri Lanka. kzread.info/dash/bejne/q4x5qo-PnZOqprA.html BC is one of the most expensive provinces in Canada, but if you have a job, you can manage. Although real estate is very expensive. Also BC has the mildest weather out of all Canadian provinces. It is the least cold during the winter. Most Canadian provinces gets hot in the summer and BC gets a lot of rain.

If you only allowed to work a certain amount of hours as per your visa, then it is illegal to work more than those set hours. Otherwise there is no limit on how many hours you can work, you can work as many as you can. But based on your income you will have to pay taxes.

Yes! Like explained by Anupama it depends on your visa. If it’s closed work permit then it’s a fixed hour thing and if it’s an open work permit you could work as much as you want!
