Mr Beast is different kind of youtuber. We would watch mrbeast to see the crazy money things he does. But we watch sidemen to see a bunch of funny guys having fun, doing activities and enjoying themselves. Obviously when sidemen is giving away money the views go down, it's like seeing mrbeast doing a 50 min crossbar challenge.

Actually true, sidemen videos are a lot more relateable even if the idea isnt ( like holidays and spending 100k and stuff like that) cause of their energy, i personally wouldnt like if they went the mr beast route cause it wont hit the same

Thing with Mr Beast giving away money and Sidemen giving away money to subs is, SDMN viewers watch the channel to see the SDMN and friends, cause we feel like we know you so well and are part of the group and speaking for myself, I'm not really interested in watching fans get given money by the Sidemen (in a Sidemen Sunday). Where as with Mr Beast, he's known for giving away money for these kind of crazy videos or challenges and that's what people click on his channel for. Probably why giving money to fans doesn't do so well on the SDMN channel

@@jellybob7190 Yeah I mean in that recent fan video that Tobi hosted, it was one of my least favourites because the sidemen is about the guys, and I’m not personally interested in watching an hour video focused around people I don’t know. The sidemen are successful because they don’t try to be something they’re not and that relatability resonates with their fans, which I feel is lost when they aren’t fully on camera. I feel like they could keep fan stuff to side+

I would say that the difference is that for Mr Beast, it's so short time and it's the high speed with fans/subscribers. With the Sidemen when fans/subscribers are involved it's for a drawn out over a longer period. Also the dynamic of the Sidemen are shifted when involving fans. It becomes boring because the focus shifts from you the Sideman to the fans, takes away from you the Sideman, which is the reason we watch Sidemen Sundays. Don't know if this makes any good sense, but its different kind of content and maybe the Sidemen shouldn't try to compare with Mr Beast.

Ye it makes sense, sidemen dont necessarily behave the same in vids alone vs eith fans, so it kinda is a bit less of them

I guess Sidemen fans don't like it when the Sidemen give them money I guess, so in the future if they ever complain about not giving back to fans then just use giving away videos flopping as an example of why they don't do those vids anymore.

Honestly, I'm one of the people that likes it when Mr beast did money giving vids but doesn't prefer it that much when sidemen does it. I found the vid a bit cringy, not in a way that people uses it nowadays, but actually cringing when the fans get airtime instead of the sidemen. Idk if it's just simply jealousy or what tho

Mrbeast content is just much more action content than sidemen. They do crazy challenges and stuff for the money. Sidemen go on a day out and shops with boring fans

no sharks are "man-eating" sharks. they're animals. and yes the ones in this video are notoriously placid and safe (as safe you can be interacting with animals). sharks aren't aggressive- and the types that tend to be (bulls, tigers etc.) usually only are when goaded or in the presence of chum or choppy waters. usually. always can be an odd one out and i wouldn't recommend jumping in with them without a cage. but yeah the risk in this video is really minimal and hammed up. i'd love for people to please stop framing sharks as killers when they aren't, we already had mass hysteria movements and millions of them culled a year for no reason.

Simon, I would like to give my opinion on why MrBeast is different. Apart from him having 93M subs, it’s his editing. His videos are edited so nice and neat, it makes it so appealing and engaging to watch. And all that content fits in under 20 minutes. While the Sidemen sometimes have a max 30 minutes content, stretched out to 1 hour and 30 minutes. That’s why I’ve been pleasing for the Sidemen to hire a TV Producer or someone who knows the Sidemen and their fans but can elevate their content. I mean the content now is good enough, I watch it every day across all the channels but I feel like it can definitely get better and it should. Imagine there’s a producer, designated to oversee everything in the sidemen sunday production. it’ll ease up the workload of the sidemen and better its output

Honestly, I actually think the sidemen are a lot better to watch production wise since it’s not as over the top as Mr beasts. The main reason for the difference in subs and viewers is becuase USA have a way bigger population than the UK meaning more viewers.

Most sharks are not really man eaters. They don’t like the taste of human. If one is starving enough I’m sure they would, but most shark attacks are sharks taking a bite and realising they don’t want it. Which is still horrible enough obviously, and they are usually confused thinking they are seals or something. So generally, they aren’t too interested in us. Depends on species also. Still brave though, to get in the water with any predator.
