MiniDSP room correction with Dirac Live plugin

Музыка

a short video that briefly describes and shows the process of setting up a preset for correcting room acoustics with a miniDSP and the Dirac Live plugin.
You can choose english subs for this video.
How to connect your devices for measurements:
1️⃣ Connect your computer to miniDSP via USB cable.
2️⃣ Connect another USB cable to your DAC, which is connected to your amplifier and speakers.
3️⃣ Use a 3rd USB port to connect a microphone.
Remember to install the microphone calibration file, download the miniDSP console app, and the Dirac Live plugin. Make sure you have an active account. Don't run Dirac Live, just open the MiniDSP console app, and start the Dirac Live process there.
After you've completed measuring, stored the received filters, and loaded them into the miniDSP as a preset, the device connection should appear like this:
1. A digital source is linked to the DAC through a USB cable;
2. an analogue source (a turntable) is connected to a phono stage (if one is not built-in);
3. the DAC and the phono stage are connected to the miniDSP's inputs via an RCA connection.
4. Using an RCA cable, connect the output of the miniDSP to the input of your amplifier.
5. The amplifier is linked to the speakers you've measured.
Choose an input source and a saved preset for your speakers on your miniDSP.
Happy listening! 🔊🎵
