Me too Graham..We aim for 45 new railways a year,the way we are going we could make 5 if were lucky...Stapleford M.R is about eight miles from Oakham.The Belton House railway is 22 so they are some near ones......Best wishes Chris

Which gauge is this? and how would you get into building such wonderful machines

Mainly 5 inch and 7 1/4. Best thing is to join your local Model Engineering Society. You can learn so much always plenty of people with experience and Knowledge of the hobby.

I saw the empress at the watford miniature railway on the 26th june. I have 2 videos on my channel of my visit.

Just had a quick look,was the Empress doing any work or was the diesel loco pushing it round?

@@wooltman The diesel was providing brakes as the carriages are air braked and the empress hasn’t got a air pump fitted.
