Yes you would be surprised what gets tossed in academic institutions. Many have no clue what they are chucking out or their worth. 👍🍻

Hi Mike. Yes they are an excellent machine for light work. Predominantly used for engraving as it has a floating head. Great for circuit boards. This little machine belongs to Melbourne Polytechnic TAFE. It was destined for the skip, but was save a resurrected. Cheers 🍻

@@olfoundryman8418 It was in a classroom that was being repurposed for another program. So everything gets tossed. Another teacher brought it down to me and it is now with our larger CNC (HAAS) machines.
Chip evacuation issue has been ignored though

Um yeah 😐. This happens manually with a vacuum cleaner after the fact 😝

Hello, it is a Roland EGX-350 engraving machine. Made in Japan and is great for making circuit boards. 🍻

This little CNC is made by a Japanese company called Roland. It has only a 400watt spindle and can only handle small cutters
