Miniature Bus Stop for Wargaming Terrain and Tabletop Gaming - Scratch Build

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This weeks wargaming terrain tutorial video covers how to make up a really quick and simple bus stop for the tabletop. This is a complete scratch build using easy to find materials. I think you'll find some techniques in this video that will be useful in other builds in the future. This works really well on the Walking Dead All Out War Battlemat we made a little while ago. I'll include a link below. You should find this terrain piece works quite well in most modern or post-apocalyptic wargames or tabletop games.
I hope you enjoy the video, and like, comment or subscribe. If you would like to support the channel and help me bring more Wargaming Terrain and miniature painting content, please consider checking out my Patreon page.

Great work. It's that little extra detail (cracked window, scattered papers, gass tufts) that sells it.

Thanks mate. These make a good base for doors for dungeons as well, semi clear so you can still see the floor underneath, and they're so thin as well. Good luck with the builds.

I am so glad I found your channel. I'm just getting into Wargaming with Fallout Wasteland Warfare and such AWESOME things for me to build as I don't have the budget either. HUGE Thanks for ALL your videos - you just keep inspiring me!!

Thanks so much Gary. Glad you're getting into the hobby and enjoying yourself. There's so much stuff out there to have a go at, and it's not all 3d printing and big budgets. Good luck with your projects, and let me know if I can help, or if you have any questions about any of the videos mate. Cheers.

Your welcome mate, and thanks for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it. It's been a busy couple of weeks here with videos, and I have a few larger builds coming up, so I felt like a nice quick build was in order :) Glad you enjoyed it.

Nice work! With a couple mods, this could easily be made into a Heroic People's Bus Stop™ from the Soviet era. Also the back is begging for overlapping posters from the various local nightclubs/bands :-)

Clear packaging plastic also makes an ace base for creating sections of narrow streams and drainage ditches. You can use bits of rush welcome mat (the rubber-backed type),trimmed and painted up, to replicate the reeds and rushes that often line the banks of watercourses.

@@RFDHobby Cheers, dude. Let me know if you ever fancy doing a collab sometime. I've been setting up a few challenge builds each month but because I'm making x3 vids each week (sometime more), I run out of time for the networking & community side of things so I forget to issue them out to everyone

@@earthmanbrick no worries. I don't know how you're doing that haha. I'm struggling to keep my builds and my schedule even close to in line, I'm way behind my original plan for this year. What was the reason for the craft tape on the roof? I like the build.

  • @darkaiel

  • @RFDHobby

Thanks for the comment Jeffrey. The tape there is optional for the build, but I find without it the roof piece kind of looks like strips of cardboard stuck to a piece of cardboard. With the tape it makes it look more like one piece, and gives it a sort of molded look. Cheers.
