Mini Xerxes by Lukasz Nawalny (39lbs at 28”)

The Mini Xerxes
Beginning of October 2023 I have ordered this bow and received it end of May 2024 during the Thumb Archery Germany e.V. event in Schalkau - handed over by Lukasz himself! 🤗
This was just awesome!
It’s been evening already and it was getting dark, but it has rained so much that I didn’t want to wait for the next day (when even more rain was forecasted 🤪).
Ute has taken a video of the first shots, which you can see embedded in this video.
Lukasz has had some arrows and given them to me for test shooting (he is the man next to me).
Today weather and time were perfect for a proper video and here we are!
These are the Mini Xerxes Specs:
Length ntn: 42“
Length strung: 37,5“
Weight: 290gr
Brace height: 6,75“
Arrow pass: 23,2mm

It is a beautiful bow that matches you but it is clear that the archerss handles it with a smile, which seems to me like she has fun with each shot.😊 Thanks for the review❤

Wow, you can tell you love shooting this bow from your expression whenever you shoot :) It's gorgeously decorated and you are right about the tillering and the way it curves at full draw. I'm not a fan of the short style horse bows that "hinge" in one place. This bow seems to curve more over more of the limbs. I don't know if that's because of the very short handle but it looks great and performs well for it.

😁 All true! 👊☺️ Yes, this bow performs just great! The draw is very smooth up to 28”, which is good for it’s size 😊 But it’s only an experience for the archers up to 28” draw length, sadly… this fact is one of the very few benefits of being short 😂 I love the whole package ❤️

I like short bows, they are convenient to take on a trip . Its dimensions are very similar to the scythian hors bow.

Where do you purchase your bows? I'm on a quest for a 60# bow of good quality but a reasonable price. I am very limited on finances due to disability fixed income.

Most often I buy from the bowyers directly. Sometimes I purchase from Bamboo Archery. If you are located in Europe, Vegh and Bogar bows are available at a reasonable price as well. In USA you can catch the AF Tatar for better price than rest of world…

@@agamagreen Yeah I checked out the AF tartar. It's a nice bow and heard good things about it. Think that's what I'm gonna get. But it only goes up to 50# . Still a good bow. Am I able to hunt with a 50# bow? I live in the U.S
