This video is very helpful. But the better way is to replace colors with the sprites, for example: when touching p1 (not a red color). This will allow you to freely change the appearance and colors of the sprite without changing the code.

when a player touches the ball, the ball jus sticks to player and after some effort it unsticks and if I put the ball in goalpost it doesn't score

make sure you change your 'x' variable by 1 when moving right, and -1 when moving left. you can compare your code with mine by seeing inside my project: scratch.mit.edu/projects/723031590/
